We have a fun challenge for you today and we hope you will have lots of fun with it! Use this card sketch as inspiration for your project! Follow it exactly or use your creative license to interpret it in a clever way!

We would love for you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, November 3rd at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Now let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by the card sketch!

Christy‘s card is so beautiful! The silhouette of Santa’s sleigh flying over the moon and the snow frosted trees are from Ready Set Snow and they create a wonderful scene for the skating mouse!

Joyce‘s awesome design shows that she can think totally outside the box! Her Woodland Critter Huggers deer is the circle element and Mini String of Lights is the banner! How cute is this card?

Samantha followed the sketch pretty closely in making this awesome Halloween card! She combined Beam Me Up, Pick of the Patch, Hats Off to You and Holiday Party Animal along with Bunting Borders and a silver glitter Scalloped Circle! That inky green background is so cool!

Franci used the scripty sentiment from Mice on Ice to give the idea of a banner and Stitched Pond as the circle on her adorable card design! She added to the greeting using Offset Sayings: Christmas!

Samantha M flipped the sketch upside down! She used the Stitched Wave Borders as the banner and the half Rainbow as the circle! She finished her gorgeous design with Winter Narwhal and Christmas Fishes!

For everyone not ready to let go of Summer Karin created a beautiful card based on the card sketch! (Of course it’s still hot this week in So Cal so I’m more than ready for Fall!) Karin’s fun On the Beach scene uses the beach ball as the circle and the beach towel to suggest a banner!

Jessica‘s gorgeous card features Mice on Ice and Stitched Pond! The Stitched Snowflakes are a clever way to add the circle element from the sketch!

Caly got really creative and made a beautiful birthday shaker card! She used Stitched Cupcake and the cute little bunting from Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up for the sketch elements. Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables created the shaker window that works with the sketch! I love the Chunky Glitter on the cupcake frosting and the colorful “sprinkles” as shaker bits; it’s all in the details!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 62 tomorrow!

A Clever Fortune Teller Tabby Scene with Samantha!

Be sure to join us this week for our September Inspiration Week at the Lawn Fawn blog! There will be some amazing inspiration, Intro Videos and of course, giveaways!

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a card that is inspired by the current “Create a Scene Challenge!” I love creating scenes because they are so much fun to put together. It is like each stamped image and additional elements build so much more interest to your project. For my card, I created a birthday party scene that combines multiple stamp sets together.

With some masking and cutting I was able to transform the cat from the Fortune Teller Tabby stamp set into a birthday party guest. Instead of having a crystal ball, the cat is celebrating with her fish friend who lives in an adorable fish bowl from Keep on Swimming! I drew lines on the bowl to create part of the cat’s body.  I masked the moons on the table cloth and replaced them with bubbles to coordinate with the fish! The accessories from the Party Animal stamp set coordinate perfectly with my party scene.

You have time to enter the “Create a Scene Challenge!” The challenge is open until this Sunday September 15 at 11:59PM ET, and there is so much inspiration from both the design team and current entries! I hope you have a wonderful day!
