Good morning!  Jess here with a card for our current Card Sketch challenge!  Today’s card is a looser interpretation of the sketch but I think you’ll still see how I was inspired!

To start I blended a rainbow of distress inks over the first layer of the Snowflake Background Stencils.  I used spun sugar, dried marigold, scattered straw, cracked pistachio, salvaged patina, tumbled glass, and shaded lilac distress inks.  Once it was dry, I applied a thin layer of Fairy Dust Stencil Paste over the distress ink then removed the stencil and let it dry completely.

While it was drying, I stamped the Winter Big Scripty Words sentiment onto black licorice cardstock with embossing ink and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating dies.  Once my panel was dry, I placed the second layer of the Snowflake Background stencils over the panel and applied another thin layer of Fairy Dust Stencil Paste and then let it dry.

Once everything was dry, I trimmed the panel down to 3.75” by 5” and adhered it to a top-folding card base.  I used liquid glue to add the sentiment to finish the card!

And that’s it!  You one more weekend to get crafty and I can’t wait to see how the sketch inspires you!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend! –Jess
