Dandy Day and a Bit of Twine with Christy!

Hey crafty friends, It’s Christy! Today I’ve got a fun card for our Bring It Back Challenge using the brand-new Dandy Day stamp set.

I colored these cutie pie mice with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I cut down my focal panel with an angle on the bottom edge and layered on a grassy border and adhered the images to create a sweet scene. I stamped some of the dandelion seeds directly onto the panel to give it some movement and stamped the sentiment on the grassy border with Noble Fir Ink.

I made my card base from Narwhal Cardstock and added a piece of the new Dandy Day patterned paper with the bottom edge trimmed to match the focal panel. Then I popped the focal panel over top with foam tape.

To finish things off, I stamped another dandelion and some seeds in the bottom right corner with Hippo Ink, and tied on a Lemon Lawn Trimmings bow. I love Lawn Fawn twine, but I hadn’t used it in a while, so I was happy to bring it back!

If you’d like to see how this card came together, I have a video tutorial on my YouTube Channel, Christy Gets Crafty! And you still have time to play along in our Bring It Back Challenge! We can’t wait to see what you create!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Christy!

Our Bring it Back challenge ends on Sunday, March 1st so this is your last weekend to show us how you are using older supplies in a new way! Click HERE to join the fun!
