Baby Cards for the New Fawnie with Caly

Hi Friends! This is Caly! We’re sharing baby cards for the current challenge to celebrate Kelly and Mike’s baby! I created a card for the challenge kick off using the Little Bundle set and have used it again for two more cards today! This is a fun and versatile set and I wanted to share with you that you can stretch its use with a few different layouts.

My first card is a clothes line card. I love that this set comes with all the little details down to the clothespins! It’s a lot to die-cut but the details are so worth the effort! I started with a background panel that I ink-blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink around the border before die-cutting the stitched edge using the Outside In Stitched Rectangles.

I stamped my clothesline with Lawn Fawn Inks (Crunchy Leaf for the beams and Pizza Crust for the clothespin) and colored the images with Copic markers:
Overalls: B21, B95, B99, R22, R27
Onesie: B0000, B00, B02
Socks: BG10, BG13
Diaper: Y0000, Y11, Y15

After die-cutting my images, I adhered everything onto my card panel using foam adhesive to give everything dimension. To finish, I simply placed my card in my stamp positioner and added my sentiments from the same stamp set.

For my second card, I used the images to create a border. I laid out my outermost images on an ink-blended panel the same way I did my first card and used the Outside In Stitched Rectangles to cut a stitched line on the images I wanted to reach the edges of the card panel.

Using foam adhesive, I attached my images all over. To finish, I die-cut the word baby using Oliver’s Stitched ABCs and ink-blended the bottom of each letter with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and attached them in a wonky pattern in the center of my card.

I hope you enjoyed this set of baby cards! Thanks so much for joining me today!
