Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 10 – Custom Sentiments

Can you believe it’s time for our Tenth Challenge already? We have a really fun theme this time too; let’s make some cards with Custom Sentiments! Use ABCs sets or combine sentiments to create a personalized card, add a fun pun and make your greeting really stand out! This challenge will run until August 20, 2017 at 11:59 PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we will keep the rules few!

Now our talented Design Team has some pretty awesome inspiration to jump-start your creativity!

Christy‘s delightful Stuck on You card features a punny greeting combining Quinn’s ABCs and Milo’s ABCs!
Jessica found inspiration from our Let’s Roll set to add a super cute punny greeting with Milo’s ABCs!
Karin‘s sweet little thank you card is customized for her sister using Violet’s ABCs! The “merci” stamp is from Bicycle Built for You.
Kate used a series of windows to highlight the Wild for You critters on this adorable design! I love how she fussy cut “wild” with an outline of patterned paper for a custom look!
Samantha M‘s card is perfect for all your coffee dependent friends! She paired the coffee cups from Love You a Latte with a fun message in Milo’s ABCs and Violet’s ABCs!
Samantha C. created a bold punny greeting using Cole’s ABCs dies for this adorable birthday card! Critters at the Dog Park and Party Animal set the stage for fun!
Nancy used die cut letters from Louie’s, Quinn’s Capital and Finley’s ABCs to spell out a bright Happy greeting! Birthday from Big Scripty Words is white embossed on a soon-to-be released Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackable (available on August 24).

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course we will have our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner from Challenge 9 tomorrow!

  1. Quick question: Does the project have to be a card, or could it be something else? I ask because this prompt specifically calls out cards.

Sidenote: I LOVE this challenge! I just started a bullet journal spread last week to help me brainstorm ideas for just this purpose. 🙂

  2. […] Today I am sharing three tags in my crafty stash series using these Studio Calico journaling cards: These tags are going on The Hubby’s birthday presents.  He has six gifts (it’s a VERY special birthday), so I thought I would make a tag for each.  I am going to share the first three tags today, and the next two tags and a card tomorrow. For each tag I used a journaling card, and then wrote/stamped something silly on the front and back. Tag #1:      Tag #2:      Tag #3:      Supplies: Patterned Paper, Journaling Cards, Sticker: Studio Calico; Stamps: Lawn Fawn We joke a lot about how much older he is than me, so rest assured-he will find these funny.  That’s it for today-I will share the last three projects tomorrow. Until then, have a great day! Oh, and I am entering these tags into the Lawn Fawnatics challenge here. […]
