Lawn Fawnatics 232 – Holidays Past & Present

We’re paying homage to the past and honoring the present in our Holidays Past & Present Challenge! For this one, we want to see cards and projects that combine old and new Christmas (or other winter holiday) sets! Let’s see what kind of holiday mash-ups you can create with your Lawn Fawn images and die-cuts!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, November 15th, at 11:59 pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Mayra‘s card is pretty in pink, blending the Gingerbread House with A Creature Was Stirring and Sew Very Mice. The Stitched Snowflake Backdrop adds a subtle design element layered with the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Windows and Simple Stripes: Portrait.

Santa is on his way with the help of the Cozy Dogs on Samantha Mann‘s card. They’re giving the hard-working reindeer a Ho-Ho-Holiday! Her use of the Snowflakes Stencil and White Stencil Paste adds so much texture to her patterned paper sky!

Gingerbread House pairs perfectly once again with A Creature Was Stirring on Sophie‘s cute card. Her choice of patterned paper lends a cool-toned color palette, while Snowflake Confetti brings sparkle to the scene.

Mimi used the new A Mice Christmas with Merry Mice and Cheesy Christmas. Don’t they all look so cute together? Her custom sentiment pulls in the letters OU from Sweet Christmas Mice, and the Christmas Garland adds extra festive flair.

Franci took the new Big Hugs Penguin and added a baby with the Tiny Gift Box Owl and Penguin Add-on. Her Giant Season’s Greetings sentiment has a fun ombre effect and is layered with Silver Sparkle Cardstock as the drop shadow.

The new Winter Forest Backdrop: Landscape sets the scene for Samantha Casey‘s card. She added images from Caroling Mice, Holiday Helpers, and Snow One Like You. The Mini Snowflakes and Iridescent Sequin Mix make up the falling snow.

Joyce is keeping things simple with a cute card design that is easy to mass-produce. She paired A Mice Christmas with Sweet Christmas Mice. Let It Shine Holiday Plaids patterned paper adds a quick background that packs a lot of punch.

It’s Christmas in the kitchen on Christy‘s card. She’s mixing, rolling, and baking her Gingerbread House to life, with assistance from Sprinkled with Joy, A Creature Was Stirring, and Baked with Love. This is also Day 3 of her 2026 Holiday Card Series on YouTube! Check out the video HERE on her channel, Christy Gets Crafty.

We will have more Design Team inspiration for the Holidays Past & Present Challenge over the next 2 weeks! Be sure to come back on Wednesday when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 231 – Bingo Board!
