Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s see what our amazing Design Team created to inspire us!

Samantha‘s Out of This World design is so adorable! I love how she used the planets as the circles in the sketch!

Joyce saw bubbles in the sketch and used Bubbles Stencil to ink up the shapes. Then she added some super cute Bubbles of Joy images to finish this adorable card!

Christy‘s card gives a nod to the sketch by turning it on its side and using the lily pads to represent the circular shapes. Her Swan Soirée design makes a lovely wedding card!

Franci totally captured the Card Sketch with this whimsical Bubbles of Joy design! She added a Scripty Bubble Sentiment and some gorgeous bubble coloring to make a memorable card!

Karin interpreted the sketch literally in this abstract beauty! She created organic shapes with watercolor, adding some pretty gold splatters. Then she cut Scripty Love from gold metallic cardstock for the greeting.

Caly was inspired to use Stitched Umbrella and some big raindrops for her beautiful design! With just a little inking in the background, this card is clean & simple fun!

Samantha saw clouds and a unicorn in the Card Sketch! This magical card is a fun way to interpret the sketch!

Jessica got creative with her design and flipped the sketch to the other side! She used stamps from Science of Love to create this super sweet card!

Jenn replaced the circles in the sketch with stars! She used Puffy Star Stackables and Outside In Stitched Stars as well! The colorful watercolor background in so much fun! She included a good luck greeting using Riley’s ABCs and Finley’s ABCs!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 118 – Clean and Simple tomorrow! Now it’s time for you to get creative!

Sending Clean & Simple Hugs with Jessica

We are looking forward to seeing your Clean and Simple challenge creativity! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. The Clean and Simple challenge will be open until Sunday, February 20th at 11:59PM ET.

Good morning!  Jess here with a card for our current Clean and Simple challenge!

To start I gathered up all my Lawn Fawn cardstock scraps I keep in a storage pocket and cut them into strips of a variety of widths.  I used Guava, Raspberry, Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Sunflower, No. 2 Pencil, Cilantro, Mermaid, Peacock, Moonstone, Blue Jay, and Sugar Plum cardstock though you could use cardstocks in the same color family or whatever scraps you happen to have on hand!  I applied adhesive to an A2 panel of white cardstock and then laid the strips on a diagonal pattern.  After I was done, I cut off the excess and was left with an A2 panel.

Next, I die-cut the Giant Sending Big Hugs die from white cardstock and adhered the negative over my rainbow background.  I laid the sentiment inside the cut out and used it as a guide to adhere all the little pieces (like the inside of the ‘b’).  I stamped the rest of the sentiment from All the Clouds onto Black Licorice cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder!

And that’s it!  You have one more weekend to get crafty and I can’t wait to see your clean and simple creations!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend! -Jess

Thank you for sharing this awesome inspiration, Jess! It’s perfectly clean & simple!

This is the last weekend for the Clean & Simple challenge! We will back on Monday with another fun challenge theme, see you then!

Caly’s Color My World Card

Hi Friends!

It’s Caly with you today!  Thanks for being here!  To embrace the current Clean and Simple challenge, I made it colorful using a single image from the Color My World set!  There are a few days left to participate in this challenge and I hope you’ll play along! You have until Sunday February 20th, 2022 at 11:59pm ET to link up your projects.

I love that this challenge gives me the chance to use the mini sets that I have.  The Color My World set is a single image, but the color possibilities and layouts are endless!  You can make it as clean and simple as you want, or as elaborate as you want.

I stamped and colored 6 images in rainbow order using Copic markers. Since the pops of color are the star of this card, I took my time and blended a few colors on every crayon.

Reds:  R21, R22, R24, R27
Oranges: YR00, YR61, YR65, YR68
Yellows: Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15
Greens:  G12, YG06, YG07, YG09
Blues:  BG01, BG02, BG05, BG07
Purples:  V01, V04, V06, V09

To make a colorful background, I used Lawn Fawn Mini Ink Cubes in Lobster, Carrot, Lemonade, Jalapeno, Forget-Me-Not, and Juice Box. I used one of the corners of each ink cube to swipe at an angle.  Then I used the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies to die-cut a stitched panel for my crayons.

I used foam adhesive to adhere each of my crayons over the coordinating ink swipes.  I trimmed off the excess overhang of the crayons, then finished by stamping my sentiment and adhering my card panel over a card base.

I hope you like this clean and simple card!  This is a fun challenge and I hope you’ll find time to participate if you haven’t already!  Thanks so much for visiting today! Again, you have until Sunday February 20th, 2022 at 11:59pm ET to link up your projects!
