A Clean and Simple Card by Jessica!

Good morning! Jess here with a CAS card for our current Fun with Dies challenge!

I decided to play with the new Little Flowers die set and die-cut them from white cardstock. Then I simply colored them using Copic markers! I used RV29, RV25, RV23, and RV21 for the flowers, G21, G24, and G28 for the stems, and E11, E13, E15, E18, and E19 for the flower pot.

Next I die-cut the Thinking About You Border twice from black cardstock and cut it apart into three separate words. I used the two sentiments so I could get the loopy beginning and ending of each word. Then I used foam mounting tape to adhere my pot and flowers to the card and liquid adhesive to adhere the sentiment. Finally I added a little Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle to the flowers for a little extra shimmer!

And that’s it! You have one more weekend to get crafty with your Lawn Fawn dies for our Fun with Dies challenge! I can’t wait to see what you create! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

-Jess

The Fun with Dies challenge will be open until Sunday, March 18 at 11:59PM ET.

Franci’s Happy Spring Card

Hi there! Franci here with a happy Spring card! I was inspired by “The Sims” video game to create this fun card featuring the new Easter Party stamp set! As soon as I saw this set I thought about this card! It makes me giggle so much! I re-created the game screen with the little character at the bottom left corner and the description of what to do at the bottom too!

First of all I die cut 2 stitched rectangles and I created my sky on one of the rectangles using a custom stencil die cut with Puffy Cloud Borders. Then I cut the hill with Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and added color with distress inks.

Next I stamped the images from Easter Party, colored with Copic markers then die cut all the images. I also die cut one of the new Mini Picture Frames from kraft cardstock.

I stamped my sentiment at the bottom combining the Easter Party set and the Happy Happy Happy stamp set.
Then I glued down all my images creating this fun scene! I created those green crystals that all the Sims have above their heads with the tiny banner dies from the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die set. I colored them with a light green distress ink and glued them down as well.
Finally I added some details with a white gel pen and some sparkle with a Wink of Stella brush marker.
This project is totally nerdy and fun, hope it makes you smile! Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
