Samantha’s Wild Birthday Card

TODAY is the big day! Join Kelly and Jenn at 5PM PT/8PM ET for another amazing Create with Us class! In this free online class, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring the Wheely Great Day and Fly High stamp sets. You can follow along — or just pop in to say hi! — on YouTube Live. You can find all the details HERE! We can’t wait to get the crafty chat started!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, March 19 at 11:59PM ET. Link your challenge projects HERE.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random drawing winner! Woohoo!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Samantha always brings the whimsy to her amazing card designs! For this amazing birthday card, she assembled critters from Elephant Parade, Elephant Parade Add-On, Toucan Do It and Wild for You. After coloring them in totally whimsical colors she arranged them on a Tropical Leaves stenciled background! This design is just perfect for a “wild birthday”!

Thanks so much for this adorable inspiration, Samantha!

Samantha’s Tropical Card Sketch Inspiration

We invite you to join us for our current Card Sketch Challenge! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. The Card Sketch challenge will be open until Sunday, March 6th at 11:59PM ET.

Samantha Mann joins us today to share her gorgeous Card Sketch inspiration! She switched the sketch to the other side and gave it a tropical spin! So fun!

Samantha masked off a portion of the card and used Distress inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to create a colorful panel. Then using the same colors of ink, she added fun detail with Tropical Leaves Background Stencils!

Next, she stamped the Toucan Do It images with Jet Black ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out with the coordinating dies! She arranged them on the inky panel then added the white heat-embossed sentiment!

Thanks so much for this brilliant inspiration, Samantha!

I hope you are inspired to create your own brilliant design with the Card Sketch! We are looking forward to seeing your creativity!
