Jessica’s Unique Winter Skies Snow-globe Card

We have been enjoying your clever Something Old, Something New cards in the challenge gallery, you are all so creative! Today Jessica shares some lovely inspiration with a brilliant snow-globe card design!

Jess combined the brand new Winter Skies set with our older Ready Set Snow snow-globe theme set! She added a gorgeous purple night sky using Distress ink in Seedless Preserves and Victorian Velvet along Black Soot!

She gave her design lots of sparkle with our Chunky Glitter and Prisma Glitter! For the background she started with an Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop and added some Stitched Snowflakes die cut from white cardstock and our silver glitter cardstock from our Sparkle – Holiday pack!

We hope you have been inspired to combine and older and newer Lawn Fawn products and join the Something Old, Something New challenge! It will be open until Sunday September 30th at 11:59pm ET.

Thanks so much for sharing this gorgeous card with us today, Jess!

Christy’s Otterly Adorable Card!

Challenge 17 will be open until Sunday, December 3 at 11:59PM PT

Hey friends, Christy here with a super fun Christmas card inspired by our current challenge! I took the color palette and gave it a girly twist by adding pink into the mix. I’d been dying to ink up my Winter Otter, so I colored him with Copic markers and gave him a little candy cane to hold. So cute!

For my focal panel, I die cut a circle out of patterned paper with the Stitched Circle Stackables and added some vellum waves with Ocean Wave Borders. Since I was going girly, I absolutely had to add some of the gorgeous iridescent Chunky Glitter to the edges.

The rest of the patterned papers I die cut with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the Stitched Journaling Card. I layered them on my card base and added my sentiment stamped in Peacock ink on an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

For a finishing touch, I added a trio of Stitched Snowflakes, with a dab of Stickles glitter glue in the centers. If you’d like to see the video tutorial for this card, please visit my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.

You still have a few days to enter our Color Inspiration Board Challenge! The entries so far have been so inspiring. I can’t wait to see what you create!

Thank you so much, Christy for sharing this decidedly feminine card! Love how you used the color inspiration!
