Let’s see what our amazing Design Team created to inspire us!

Christy‘s absolutely gorgeous card says Autumn loud and clear! She used lots of new sets, You Autumn Know, Scripty Autumn Sentiments and Fall Leaves Background Stencils to create the feeling of Fall! She brought in the challenge theme with Thanks a Latte mugs filled with steaming coffee and cocoa!

Franci‘s pair of cards feature a charming mix of Love You a Latte and Snow Day bunnies along with Milk and Cookies! I love the diagonal stripes of the Let it Shine paper framing the collage panels!

Samantha‘s treats have a decidedly Halloween theme! Her fantastic scene features Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters with images from Purrfectly Wicked, Purrfectly Wicked Add-On and treats from A Creature Was Stirring! The Bayou Backdrop in purple glitter cardstock creates lots of spooky vibes!

I love how Karin paired the Den Sweet Den bear with the cookie and jar from Milk and Cookies! The steaming hot beverage looks so cute in this sweet little scene!

What is better than enjoying a cup of hot chocolate on Christmas morning? These cute kids are happy and cozy on the sofa by the Joy to All Christmas tree! Joyce included the family cat in the fun in this happy scene!

Samantha‘s shaker card is so clever! She used Outside In Stitched Mug and Stitched Mug Frame and filled the shaker with cocoa-color sequins and snowflakes! The adorable little marshmallows add to the fun! The cool peppermint stripe background was created using Simple Stripes: Diagonal!

Caly‘s cheery design features Thanks a Latte mugs in a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window! The Let it Shine Snowflakes papers add to the frosty fun of this gorgeous card!

Jenn is sending sweet encourage-mint with our new How You Bean? Mint Add-On and a Lovely Latte paper-pieced mug! I love the pretty minty green and brown color combo that she carried out with Cracked Pistachio Oxide ink and Chocolate Bar cardstock! The Quilted Backdrop lets a little more minty green peek through while the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop grounds the vignette!

I hope you have been inspired by these amazing projects! We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 110 – Spectacular Skies tomorrow! Now it’s time for you to get creative!

Hello Fall with Jessica

It’s the last weekend for this challenge so be sure to link up your Spectacular Skies projects HERE. This challenge will close Sunday, October 17th at 11:59PM ET.

Good morning!  Jess here with a card for our current inspiration photo challenge!

To start I wanted to create that gorgeous sky that’s in the inspiration photo so I blended shaded lilac, blueprint sketch, prize ribbon, and chipped sapphire distress oxide inks onto a panel of white cardstock.  Then I stamped the adorable mice and leaves from You Autumn Know and colored them with Copic markers.  I also stamped a sentiment from Scripty Autumn Sentiments and die-cut everything with the coordinating dies.

I also die-cut the Fall Leaves Backdrop and cut out two sides of the die to mimic the look of the inspiration photo.  I colored them with the same Copic markers and then adhered them to my blue sky.  I adhered a stitched frame of black cardstock and then added the rest of my colored images to complete the scene!

And that’s it!  You have one more weekend to get crafty and I can’t wait to see how the challenge photos inspires you!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!
-Jess

Thanks so much Jess! This is truly a Spectacular Sky!

Let’s see what our amazing Design Team created to inspire us!

Caly‘s card uses Stitched Hillside Pop-Up to create a fun Autumn scene! The Jump for Joy critters are celebrating the arrival of colorful Fall leaves and blue skies! For the background she used Leafy Tree Backdrop: Landscape and Stitched Tree Borders.

Karin‘s spectacular sky is an ink blended beauty! Combining Winter Skies and Over the Mountain Borders she created a simple scene with Scripty Love as the greeting!

Christy‘s adorable card is inspired by the pretty blue sky and colorful leaves in the inspiration photo! She combined Purrfectly Wicked cats with Jump for Joy leaves! The cute little kitten is on a branch from A Bug Deal.

This charming card by Samantha C features Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait in glittery Autumn Sparkle cardstock! She stenciled the clouds then added some splatters for texture. The sweet little scene anchored by the Gold Rush cardstock “hill” (found in the Leafy Tree die set) combines Happy Hugs and Let’s Go Nuts! I love the acorns in the speech bubble!

Joyce created an amazing winter sky using Snowflake Background Stencils and Yeti ink on an ink-blended background. The playful scene features our new Penguin Party set!

Jessica focused on the pretty leaves framing the Autumn sky to create a gorgeous thank you card! She layered two Fall Leaves Backdrops, one in a beautiful glittery gold over a Fall Leaves Background Stenciled panel! The Giant Thanks so Much stands out in bold Black Licorice cardstock!

The contrast of the warm colors of the You Autumn Know leaves and dusky colors of the sky is so striking in Samantha‘s design! This card just makes me smile, it’s so happy!

Franci‘s cute Costume Party kids are enjoying trick-or-treating under an amazing purple sky! To complete her Halloween scene she used Spooky Fence Border and a ghost and bats from Happy Haunting!

Jenn finishes out our Spectacular Skies inspiration with the cutest Happy Harvest card! The addition of the cute You Autumn Know mouse is brilliant! I love how she trimmed the Fall Leaves Backdrop to mimic the look of the leaves in the inspiration photo! Her greeting comes from Scripty Autumn Sentiments.

I hope you have been inspired by these amazing projects! We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 109 – Awesome Autumn tomorrow! Now it’s time for you to get creative!
