Inspiration with our two Samanthas!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, April 2 at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random drawing winner! Woohoo!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Today we have a special treat for you! Both of our wonderful Samanthas have Inspired by a Book, Movie or Song ideas for you!


Samantha Casey created a fun take on Where’s Waldo with our Tiny Friends sets! She framed all the people with a Stitched Scalloped Square Frame. I love how she framed “Waldo” with the magnifying glass from Hey Lady!


Samantha Mann was inspired by the Disney movie, Pocahontas! She says her favorite characters are Meeko and Flit. She used raccoons from Holiday Party Animal and Critter Concert for Meeko, and the cute hummingbird from Gleeful Gardens stars as Flit. The bathtub from Rub-A-Dub-Dub stands in for the canoe while Samantha customized one of the mermaids from Mermaid for You as Pocohontas. I love her beautiful background, inked blended perfectly then die cut with Peekaboo Backdrop!

So, you still have plenty of time to join us for this challenge! We can’t wait to see what inspires you and how you will show us!

Karin’s Cute Special Delivery Inspiration!

It’s the last weekend for the Change the Scene challenge! This challenge closes this Sunday, September 4th at 11:59PM ET. We have been having so much fun checking out your creative projects!

Karin‘s cute design changes with the subtle flap of the Special Delivery owl’s wings! She used the Waving Pull-Tab Starter Set to create the movement!

The little Rub-A-Dub-Dub duck has some happy mail to post! I’m sure it’s an amazing handmade card!

Bubbly Card Sketch Inspiration with Samantha

It’s the last weekend for our Card Sketch challenge! We can’t wait to see how this fun card sketch inspires you! The Card Sketch challenge will be open until Sunday, August 14th at 11:59PM ET.

Samantha used the Card Sketch in such a fun and clever way! She stenciled the Brick Stencil in a diagonal and had the bubbles follow the pattern. Then she added the cute Rub-A-Dub-Dub tub and ducks and finished with a Scripty Bubble Sentiment! I love how she colored all the bubbles! Those pastels are so pretty.
