Karin’s Interactive Love Letters Card

We are heading into the last weekend for our “Try a new technique” challenge and we are so happy to see so many of you trying something new in your cardmaking and crafting adventures! Karin is here today to share weekend crafting inspiration with her sweet pull-tab slider card!

Karin created this fun slider design to hide a surprise message!  She die cut the speech bubble from A Birdie Told Me coordinating die set, it is the perfect size for the Love Letters greetings! She added the prompt “pull here” from our Push Here stamp set.

When the recipient pulls on the slider tab, the secret message is revealed! Such a fun idea and a wonderful technique to try!

Thanks for sharing with us today, Karin! I’m sure you’ve inspired our Fawnatics friends! We hope you will check out all the amazing ideas at our Challenge 23 post and join the “Try a new technique” fun!

Have a great weekend and happy crafting!

Our amazing Design Team created some awesome watercolor cards to inspire your creativity!

Jessica created a gorgeous watercolor wash for the background and the Ocean Hillside Pop-up waves with Distress inks! She made the Duh-nuh shark interactive with a slider, so clever!
How cool is Christy‘s underwater scene! The watercolor backdrop is gorgeous behind the bright and colorful coral and seaweed from Mermaid for You. The Duh-nuh shark looks right at home!
Samantha C added a pretty wash of aqua color with embossed polka dots to highlight the cute images from Here’s the Scoop!
Samantha M created a cool watercolor “wave” for her awesome Mermaid for You card design!
Kate created a cool wash of watercolor for the cute Duh-nuh shark! I love how the Perfectly Plaid Winter paper ties all the colors together
Jenn‘s card has an artsy watercolor backdrop! She water-colored the die cut greeting from Big Scripty Words as well.
Karin water-colored the cute critters from Hello Baby and added pretty watercolor to ground the sweet little scene!
