Karin’s Tiny Scene Card!

Karin is with us today to share the final Design Team inspiration for the Little Things challenge! She created an adorable tiny scene in a heart to send birthday wishes!

This sweet design features the Lacy Heart Stackables layered with an ink blended Outside In Stitched Heart! Karin added more cute detail with the Fancy Scalloped Rectangle!

To create this tiny little scene Karin combined the little critters from Coaster Critters and Hay There along with a sweet little tree from Happy Village!

The Little Things challenge will close Sunday night August 4 at 11:59PM ET. We look forward to seeing all of your amazing “little things” projects!

Beautiful Sketch Challenge Inspiration by Karin

This is the last weekend for the Card Sketch challenge and Karin has two beautiful cards with unique designs to inspire you! If you haven’t in this challenge played yet, check it out HERE. It will be open until 11:59PM ET on Sunday May 5th.

For this first card, Karin die cut a circle in a white cardstock panel. Then on a second panel she inked a lovely sky in pretty pastel colors! She added some grass and Birch Trees. The sweet Butterfly Kisses critters look adorable watching the butterflies flutter above them!

To create the diagonal element in the sketch, Karin cut tiny flowers from Spring Sprig and scattered them in a loose diagonal line. So pretty!

For this lovely card, Karin started with our Layered Butterflies die set. She cut the solid piece from vellum and the outline from white cardstock. Then she used Distress inks in warm colors to add color to both pieces!

To finish her card with sweet style, she layered the butterfly on a Lacy Heart Stackable. Then she die cut rows of Valentine Borders diagonally in the background!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 46 – Color Inspiration Mood Board!

It’s time for a fresh new challenge with brilliant color inspiration! Use all the colors or choose your favorites, let the image inspire you if you choose but above all, have fun! The Lawn Fawn colors that correspond to the mood board are: Peachy Keen, Guava, Raspberry, Juice Box and Manatee! Share with us your color inspired projects, we can’t wait to see what you create! This challenge will be open until Sunday, February 17th at 11:59PM ET. Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers.

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Christy used our color combo to create a magical card design with Critters Ever After and Puffy Cloud Borders!

Franci was inspired by the purple shade and made this adorable Stitched Circle Tag for Valentine’s Day! She combined the adorable penguin from Say What? Christmas Critters with a sentiment from Sweet Friends!

Grace used all the colors to set the scene for this beautiful card and tag set! She used an Outside In Stitched Heart to make a stencil for ink blending the heart shape! Her cute little scene features Bicycle Built for You and the sweet shaker tag was made with Say What? Gift Tags!

I bet we could all use a little sunshine right now and Jessica‘s gorgeous card brings it! She added lots of gold paint splatters to the background and used gold glitter cardstock to create a sandy spot for the cool sunglasses-wearing pineapples from the Aloha mini set!

Samantha C used the inspiration to make a make a rosy hued solar system with Out of This World! I love how she added the cute little space alien from Beam Me Up!

Karin‘s gorgeous ink-blended Outside In Stitched Heart is layered with a Lacy Heart die cut from Ballet Slippers cardstock! The backdrop for the heart is made with a Quilted Backdrop, Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame and Scripty Love!

Samantha M created a delightful Let’s Toast card that incorporates all the colors in the challenge mood board! She used the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On to make the interactive pop-up!

Joyce‘s super cute Candy Box is ready to fill with some sweet treats for Valentine’s Day! She used our cute One in a Chameleon critter and a Speech Bubble die to add some fun!

Jenn‘s watercolor background painting is all kinds of gorgeous! These fantastic cards are finished simply with Scripty Hello and Scripty Thanks! This design is so beautiful and easy to make, great way to add to your card stash!
