Cute critters are treating themselves to their favorite hot beverage on Samantha‘s charming card! She’s added her signature inky background and a black and white stripe accent! She used stamps from Critter Concert, Love You S’more and Love You a Latte!

Our Toboggan Together penguins are sharing a little birthday cake on Karin‘s clean and simple card design! The party hats, cake and balloon are from Party Animal and she added the birthday greeting with Tiny Tags and Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday!

Samantha combined lots of Lawn Fawn sets to create this whimsical card! The cat is from Meow You Doin’? as are the mouse and the cute fish bones decorating the ice cream scoops! A Hidden Critter Concert Scene by Samantha

Samantha M joins us today to share a fun fold card using Lift the Flap! She has hidden a cute Critter Concert scene beneath the flap for a great interactive design!

This critter orchestra was colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!

Samantha blended on Distress Inks to create that lovely rainbow of color! To add texture and dimension she added water and ink splatters!

Thanks so much for inspiring us today, Samantha! Your card is fantastic and so much fun!

We look forward to seeing your Fun Folds projects! This challenge is open until Sunday, August 5th at 11:59PM ET.
Happy Crafting from your friends at Lawn Fawnatics!

Jessica’s Critter Concert Shadow Box Card!

Good morning! Jess here with an interactive card for our current Fun Folds challenge!

As a career musician I simply cannot get over the cuteness of the Critter Concert stamp set. I’ve been using it to create cards for all of my musical friends and students and this card was made with a particular french horn-playing student in mind.

To start I stamped a bunch of critters from Critter Concert with Copic-friendly ink and colored them with Copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I also die-cut some of the elements from Little Music Notes with Black Licorice and Chili Pepper cardstock. I also die-cut the Shadow Box Card and Shadow Box Theater Add-on with Black Licorice cardstock and Knock on Wood patterned paper.

As I assembled my shadow box I tucked lots of hidden elements on the sides and back of the box. If you tilt the box to look “behind” the curtain you’ll see more musician critters and music notes. And of course my fox takes center stage with his french horn. Finally I added a panel with some music note embellishments onto the back of the box so I could write a message to the birthday girl!

And that’s it! You have two more weeks to experiment with your fun folds! I can’t wait to see what you create! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
