Design Team Inspiration

Mimi created a lovely basket of Christmas cookies! She used How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On and Vanilla Malt cardstock for the cookies. She inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink, then stamped the tree cookie with Freshly Cut Grass and the bell with Raspberry Ink. She white heat embossed all the white icing. Then she gathered up some cookies in a mini cellophane bag to place in the Build-A-Basket: Easter. The background, stenciled with Poinsettia Background Stencils, is layered behind vellum for a soft look.

Karin created a sweet gift using Woodland Critter Huggers, Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On and a Stitched Gift Card Pocket! On the back, the cute raccoon holds a teabag and a cute message from Ugly and Bright. The candy canes and gingerbread are from A Creature Was Stirring.

Franci‘s adorable card sends sweet wishes with lots of sweet treats! She combined Love You a Latte with Milk and Cookies to fill the table. The perfect sentiment is also from Milk and Cookies!

Samantha is “making spirits bright” with a clever cocktail themed design! She used Build-A-Drink, filling the glasses with an alcohol inked acetate to make a festive holiday beverage (she backed the drinks with white cardstock, so the colors show up against the dark backdrop). She inked the Noble Fir cardstock for the background with Pine Needles and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, then she stenciled the snowflakes with White Stencil paste. And then she added the punny greeting with Harold’s ABCs.

This sentiment from Sweet Christmas is perfect for Christy‘s lovely card design! She created a circle window to fill with sweet treats from Thanks a Latte and Oh Snap! To give it a wintry holiday feel, she added pine boughs from Winter Birds. The Knit Picky Winter paper frames the pretty arrangement beautifully!

Joyce‘s bookmark is a sweet gift for any lover of books and holiday treats! She cut the bookmark from kraft cardstock using a Large Mini Slimline die. Then using Doe ink, she stamped images from Tiny Gingerbread and Holiday Helpers. Finally, she embossed the sentiment from Scribbled Sentiments: Winter in white on top!

Samantha‘s card is so cheery and fun! The Holiday Helpers are cooking up some holiday sweets in the Sweet Christmas gingerbread house! And there are also images from Sprinkled with Joy! She created a frame for the little scene with Winter Wonderland Window and added some Mini Snowflakes!

Catherine‘s totally charming shaker card is so fun! She put these fun boba cups together with Build-A-Drink, Build-A-Snow Globe (decorative rim) and Stitched Cupcake! She added all the details with Build-A-Snowman, Woodland Critter Huggers, and Winter Yeti. The boba balls are from Bubbles of Joy and she also used How You Bean? Mint Add-On. She decorated the card with Holly Leaves Border, then added the sentiment with Simply Winter Sentiments and Harold’s ABCs!

We will have more Design Team inspiration right here over the next 2 weeks and be sure to come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 161 – Holiday Critters!

Design Team Inspiration

Mimi‘s card features the little girl from Joy to All having the sweetest tea party! She used the tea set and treats from Tea-rrific Day and Tea-rrific Day Add-On. She included the Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On as an adorable dollhouse and toys from You’re Claw-some and Holiday Helpers. In the background she added Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait.

Samantha combined cute Thanks a Latte mugs with stenciled snowflake background to send warm wishes!

Karin put her amazing coloring skills to good use on this sweet and simple Tea-rrific Day design!

Leave it to Catherine to turn our Sprinkled with Joy stove and the claw machine from You’re Claw-some into a fancy espresso machine! The mice are enjoying some fancy coffee in this fall themed design! Catherine used images from the following sets to create this amazing design: Garden Before ‘n Afters, Pizza My Heart, Love You a Latte, A Creature Was Stirring, Berry Special, Just Add Glitter, Pumpkin Spice, Happy Harvest, Lacy Borders and Fall Leaves Backdrop.

Samantha got in the Halloween mood with a fun “vampire tea party”! She used both of the Tea-rrific Day sets along with Purrfectly Wicked, Happy Harvest and Bayou Backdrop! The colors she used add to the spooky vibe of this clever design!

Joyce got so clever with this adorable design! Starting with Smart Cookie she created a fun holiday card by adding a scarf and Santa hat from Snow Much Fun and Toboggan Together! The cookie stamped background is so cute! She included the perfect sweet sentiment from Merry Messages!

I love how Franci combined Outside In Stitched Mug with Gingerbread Friends to create the cutest cup of tea ever!

There is something wonderful about a picnic on a crisp fall day! Christy captured that feeling in this happy design! She gathered the Den Sweet Den bear, Apple-solutely Awesome tree, the picnic basket from Crazy Antics and lots of cute detail images to give this card lots of sweetness!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 3 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 134 – Monochromatic tomorrow! Now it’s time to fill a mug and think about Coffee, Tea & Treats!
