Colorful and Cute Wild for You Card by Christy!

It’s the last week for our Color Inspiration challenge! Let’s see your colorful projects; link them up HERE

Christy has some cuteness to share today for your weekend crafting inspiration!

Hi there, it’s Christy here today with a sweet birthday card using the colors from our current challenge’s inspiration photo! I still hadn’t inked up Wild For You so I decided to make these cute little critters the focus of my scene. I colored them with Copic markers and die cut them with the matching dies, then layered them on top of a Stitched Rectangle Stackables background and some Meadow Borders grass.

I added in a couple of clouds from Spring Showers and stamped a sentiment from Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday on one in Peacock ink. Then I popped up my focal panel with foam tape over a card base layered with coordinating patterned papers. A smidge of Stickles glitter glue was my final touch.

You still have a week left to enter our Color Inspiration Board Challenge! I can’t wait to see what you create!

Thank you so much for sharing this amazing card creation, Christy! I love that blue elphie
Have a great weekend everyone; happy crafting!

Happy Friday Fawnatics! Jessica joins us today with some super fun color inspiration!

Good morning! Jess here with a card for our current Color Inspiration challenge! I love the bright and cheerful rainbow colors and used them to create a fun, summery friendship card!

To start I stamped the strawberries and banana from So Smooth with copic-friendly ink and colored them with R29, R39, G19, Y17, and Y38 copic markers. Then I stamped the images onto a post-it note, fussy cut them out, and masked them. Next I stamped the five drink glasses from So Smooth and colored them with copics. I used RV13, RV14, R27, Y17, Y38, YG07, G14, BG13, BG32, BG25, and BG49 to imitate the inspiration palette. I made sure the ink was totally dry and then I stamped the adorable faces onto each glass. I altered the orientation of each face to create a little variety!

Then I added a little more details: I stamped the sentiment at the bottom, added the umbrellas to two glasses, and then added accents with a white gel pen. Finally I applied a thin layer of glossy accents to each of the glasses and let it dry. And that’s it! 🙂

You have 2 weeks to enter our Color Inspiration challenge and I can’t wait to see your entries! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic weekend!
