Jessica’s Sparkly Pumpkin Spice Card!

Good morning! Jess here with a sparkly and cozy card for our current Inspiration Board challenge!

I loved the glittery photo in the Inspiration Board and decided to use that as my inspiration (as well as just the general sweet and cozy feel)! I started by applying liquid glue in a loose wash to a piece of white cardstock. Then I sprinkled it liberally with Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter and Prisma Glitter. I pressed it into the glue and added a little more Prisma Glitter until I couldn’t feel any stickiness from the adhesive. Finally I placed a piece of copy paper over the glitter and used a bone folder to burnish the glitter into the cardstock before setting it aside to dry completely. While it was drying I stamped the Pumpkin Spice mug, colored it with Copic markers, then die-cut it with the coordinating die.

I stamped the sentiment from Baaah Humbug onto Lucky Penny patterned paper from Watercolor Wishes with Versafine ink and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder before trimming it down to a fishtail banner. I trimmed the white panel down and adhered it to a card base using the same Lucky Penny paper. Then I added the mug and sentiment with foam mounting tape. Finally I die-cut a pink Heart and added it to finish the card!

And that’s it! You have two more weeks to get crafty and use our Challenge 21 badge as inspiration for your creations! I can’t wait to see what you create! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Christy’s Beautiful Merry Wishes Card!

Challenge 19 will be open until Sunday December 31 at 11:59 PM ET. We can’t wait to see how you will use your favorite Lawn Fawn sets!

Christy joins us today to share a gorgeous card and a story about her sweet inspiration!

Hey friends! It’s Christy here with another Christmas card using one of my most favorite Lawn Fawn Holiday sets: Cheery Christmas! For today’s card, I wanted to color the little reindeer to resemble a sweet albino deer named Olive that lives in the woods on my street. They say it’s lucky if you catch a glimpse of her — so far my hubby and all three of my sons have seen her, but I haven’t yet. I’ve seen plenty of pictures that neighbors have shared though, and I can’t wait see her for myself.

Even though Olive is a doe, I took a little artistic liberty and made her a stag for my card, because I wanted to hang those cute little ornaments in the antlers. I also gave her a squirrel friend and a little scarf from Baaah Humbug so she can be nice and cozy! I colored my images with Copic markers and then die cut my focal panel using the Large Cross Stitched Square Stackables and a Stitched Hillside Border for the snow.

The rest of my patterned papers were die cut using the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, the Stitched Scalloped Borders, and even a little selective die-cutting with the Stitched Party Banners to get that nice stitched detail on the flag end.

To finish up the card, I added a sentiment from Tiny Tag Sayings and a few shine marks on the ornaments with a white gel pen and some Nuvo Drops as a final embellishment.

I have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty, if you’d like to see how the whole card came together.

You still have a more than a week left to enter our Use Your Favorite Lawn Fawn Stamp Set Challenge! I do hope you’ll play along. I always love to see what you all create!

Wishing you all the most joyous of holiday seasons!
