You are invited to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 3 at 11:59pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Christmas in July Challenge! For this card, I wanted to bring the holidays to the sweet baby capybara from the Capybaras! Add-on. I combined him and his froggy friend with images from Capybaras!, Kanga-rrific Add-on, Joy to All, Ugly and Bright, and Baaah Humbug. I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I made a background by cutting down a piece of Bristol with the second largest Large Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables. I blended on Distress Oxide Inks, using Salvaged Patina with the Cloudy Stencil for the sky, and Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs for the ground. I stamped the sentiment in the top center with black ink.

Then I trimmed down some patterned paper from the Pint-sized Patterns Summertime 6×6 pad with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, and another piece from Favorite Flannel with the Stitched Party Banners. I layered these on a Speckled Eggshell card base, popped up the focal panel with foam tape, and then adhered my images with liquid glue. To finish things off, I added a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to see the whole process of creating this card, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I hope you enjoy it! We can’t wait to see what you create for our Christmas in July Challenge. Have an amazing day!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Christy! This card is absolutely beautiful!
