Design Team Inspiration

Christy used every gorgeous color to great advantage in this beautiful card design! She created the Fly High scene with Stitched Mountain Borders and Mushroom Border. I love how she inked up the background components with deep, bold color! It’s a lovely backdrop for the brightly colored hot air balloons!

Samantha incorporated the inspiring color palette using Corner Rainbow Stencils. Next, she used Cloud Background Stencils to add white stencil paste clouds on the rainbow layer. Then, she embossed the sentiment from All the Clouds on vellum, cutting it with an Outside In Stitched Cloud.

Franci‘s adorable new baby card is double the sweetness! She used a simplified and softer version of the color palette to ink up a Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop. She used the Portrait backdrop but turned it sideways for her landscape design! Then she used a classic set, Plus One, to add the cute storks and finished the card with a sparkly Scripty Hello!

Karin went for big and bold with her fantastic card! She gave the Giant Sending Big Hugs beautiful ombré color, then popped it up on a background inked in muted shades of the same colors. The white splatters add lots of interest as do the cute birds from Center Picture Window Card Heard Add-On and the Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

As always, Samantha‘s card is a study in whimsy! By using the happy colors for the Oh Gnome images she made the color palette the star! The pink Mushroom Border is so much fun, layered over the Sunray Backdrop!

I love how Joyce used deep, saturated blues for the sky behind her brightly colored Fly High images! So beautiful!

Mimi brought in the color palette in a pretty tropical ocean scene! She used Lawn Fawn ink in Plastic Flamingo, Lemonade, Blue Jay and Juice Box to create the background. Then she brought in images from Fly High, Life is Good and our recent gift with purchase set.

I love how Catherine was inspired by the Color Board photo! She altered the Window Scene: Winter couch by selectively stamping to make a bench for viewing the art piece!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 145 – Inspired by a Book, Movie or Song tomorrow! We can’t wait to see how the new color palette will inspire you!
