Catherine‘s clever back to school card is tops in any book! She added lots of fun details along with the Little Woodland Library critters! She created a forest using Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop, trimming out the middle tree to stamp the sentiment.

Inside the trees are cute little book worms and there’s a leafy banner with leaves from Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait and Landscape. I love that she included the globe from Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments, it’s so perfect for a school themed card!

Samantha featured the cute squirrels from Let’s Go Nuts! They are having s’more fun with images from S’more the Merrier! Love it!

Joyce set the scene for woodland reading fun with Birch Trees stenciled in the background! She also used Grassy Border to create a soft place for all the Little Woodland Library critters to read!

Karin also created a wooded scene using Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop! She chose to leave the flaps closed for her charming congrats card featuring foxes and rabbits from Butterfly Kisses and Happy Hugs!

Franci‘s card is very cute and whimsical! She filled a scene with cute woodland animals from Little Woodland Library, arranging them on a Birch Tree Stenciled background.

And Samantha shows us another look at Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop, this time cute from Falling Leaves paper. Her woodland critters are from Porcu-pine for You and Porcu-Pine for You Add-On. She used leaves and a wagon from Let’s Go Nuts and a grassy hill from Mushroom Border with more Falling Leaves paper.

I love Christy‘s sweet Little Woodland Library scene! She created it on a Stitched Rounded Rectangle panel that she layered on a pretty patterned paper background.

Mimi‘s creative Ta-Da! Diorama! takes our cute woodland critters on a camping trip! She cut Build-A-Campsite from Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime papers and created trees using Porcu-pine for You!

She cut the window for the diorama to fit the tent opening so that when the diorama is opened you see the little rabbits reading inside.

Mimi included fun camping images, a campfire and guitar from S’more the Merrier, lantern from Oh Gnome, fishing and camping gear from Car Critters Road Trip Add-On.

Design Team Inspiration

Mimi‘s card is so fun and creative! She replicated an illustrated map of California! So clever! She started by printing out the map outline and die cutting it with a Stitched Rectangle. Then she started adding all the iconic images. The trees from Winter Village and branches from Porcu-pine for You to make up the tops and trunks of the redwood trees. Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the palm trees and compass are from Ahoy, Matey. She used the cactus from Critters in the Desert, beachy items from Car Critters Road Trip Add-On and the sun from More Magic Messages.

She had to be really creative to combine the fence from Hay There, the spatula from Let’s BBQ and the embroidery hoop from Sew Very Mice to create the Golden Gate Bridge. And then she pieced together letters and words from Winter Village and Hay There to spell out her greeting.

Karin combined Den Sweet Den, Window Scene: Winter and Christmas Dreams to create a cozy, homey scene! Her simple design is so sweet, it makes me look forward to quiet evenings by the fireplace.

Samantha is definitely not ready to let go of summer! Where she lives in South Carolina the weather is still hot and nothing cools you off better than a day at the beach! She combined On the Beach, Pool Party, Snow Much Fun, Really High Five and Little Snow Globe: Bear. She turned the snow globe into a beach ball, so fun! To build the beach scene she also used Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders.

Franci also had “beary cozy” thoughts for this challenge! What could be cozier than a family of Den Sweet Den bears enjoying a bit of reading before the winter hibernation!

Samantha was inspired by the sail boats visible from the shore of Lake Erie on the north coast of Ohio! Her paper-pieced scene combines Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait, Smooth Sailing, Meadow Borders and Stitched Simple Wavy Borders. She added color to the scene with papers from Watercolor Wishes and What’s Sewing On.

Christy created this card for her son who recently moved to Los Angeles from their home on the East Coast. Living on different oceans now, her card reflects the distance between them. She featured How You Bean? Seashell Add-On and Stitched Wave Borders. She created her custom greeting with Finley’s ABCs and Milo’s ABCs.

Joyce took this opportunity to create a sweet housewarming card! Her design features Window Scene: Winter, Virtual Friends Add-On, Christmas Dreams, Screen Time, Purrfectly Wicked, Porcu-pine for You Add-On, and a sentiment from Happy Village!

Catherine‘s card is so clever depicting little vignettes of a place she once called home. She used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait to fill the windows with memories of Hong Kong. She built the tiny scenes with Fancy Lattice Backdrop, Ocean Wave Borders and On the Road. Then she used so many different sets in so many clever ways. Be sure to stop by her blog, Crafti-Cat for all the details.

This cool color palette looks so amazing on Mimi‘s fantastic Build-A-Drink and Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-On card! She created the pretty background with Tropical Leaves Backdrop, inked up with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. Then she added a perfectly appropriate sentiment with Henry’s ABCs!

Christy created a summery card featuring the Color Inspiration colors. She was also inspired by the flamingo to add a pair from Flamingo Together. Additional sets she used are Ahoy Matey, Swan Soirée, Toucan Do It, You Are Sublime, Critters from the Past and a sentiment from Reveal Wheel Sentiments.

Joyce‘s Treat Cart design is so cute! I love that she swapped the Treat Cart critters for the charming skunks from Scent with Love! The happy colors of the inspiration palette are perfect on the treat cart and ice cream.

Samantha crafted a unique friendship card using Corner Rainbow Stencils and Heart Shaker Gift Tag! She white embossed a sentiment from Happy Hugs on a Stitched Sentiment Banner and added “bff” to the heart pieces with Harold’s ABCs.

Franci‘s cool “let it snow” card uses the Color Inspiration to set a frosty scene for our Build-A-Snowman! She added some Stitched Snowflakes and a wintry sentiment from Snowy Backdrops.

Samantha‘s sweet baby welcome card features Swan Soirée and Secret Garden Window with a pond from Bayou Backdrop. She used papers from Watercolor Wishes and Rainbow Ever After to bring in the inspiration colors.

Catherine‘s design is a celebration on a card! She combined Let’s Celebrate Backdrop and Giant Hooray to create a fun shaker card! Year Seven and Tiny Birthday Friends look great in soft versions of the color inspiration.

Karin used the color palette to create a pretty card to accompany a gift! She made the heart shape with Lacy Heart Stackables and Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables. She inked up the stitched heart in the dark teal color. Then she added Scripty For You and flower/leaves from Magic Iris Floral Wreath Add-On.
