Mimi created a lovely basket of Christmas cookies! She used How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On and Vanilla Malt cardstock for the cookies. She inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink, then stamped the tree cookie with Freshly Cut Grass and the bell with Raspberry Ink. She white heat embossed all the white icing. Then she gathered up some cookies in a mini cellophane bag to place in the Build-A-Basket: Easter. The background, stenciled with Poinsettia Background Stencils, is layered behind vellum for a soft look.

Karin created a sweet gift using Woodland Critter Huggers, Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On and a Stitched Gift Card Pocket! On the back, the cute raccoon holds a teabag and a cute message from Ugly and Bright. The candy canes and gingerbread are from A Creature Was Stirring.

Franci‘s adorable card sends sweet wishes with lots of sweet treats! She combined Love You a Latte with Milk and Cookies to fill the table. The perfect sentiment is also from Milk and Cookies!

Samantha is “making spirits bright” with a clever cocktail themed design! She used Build-A-Drink, filling the glasses with an alcohol inked acetate to make a festive holiday beverage (she backed the drinks with white cardstock, so the colors show up against the dark backdrop). She inked the Noble Fir cardstock for the background with Pine Needles and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, then she stenciled the snowflakes with White Stencil paste. And then she added the punny greeting with Harold’s ABCs.

This sentiment from Sweet Christmas is perfect for Christy‘s lovely card design! She created a circle window to fill with sweet treats from Thanks a Latte and Oh Snap! To give it a wintry holiday feel, she added pine boughs from Winter Birds. The Knit Picky Winter paper frames the pretty arrangement beautifully!

Joyce‘s bookmark is a sweet gift for any lover of books and holiday treats! She cut the bookmark from kraft cardstock using a Large Mini Slimline die. Then using Doe ink, she stamped images from Tiny Gingerbread and Holiday Helpers. Finally, she embossed the sentiment from Scribbled Sentiments: Winter in white on top!

Samantha‘s card is so cheery and fun! The Holiday Helpers are cooking up some holiday sweets in the Sweet Christmas gingerbread house! And there are also images from Sprinkled with Joy! She created a frame for the little scene with Winter Wonderland Window and added some Mini Snowflakes!

Catherine‘s totally charming shaker card is so fun! She put these fun boba cups together with Build-A-Drink, Build-A-Snow Globe (decorative rim) and Stitched Cupcake! She added all the details with Build-A-Snowman, Woodland Critter Huggers, and Winter Yeti. The boba balls are from Bubbles of Joy and she also used How You Bean? Mint Add-On. She decorated the card with Holly Leaves Border, then added the sentiment with Simply Winter Sentiments and Harold’s ABCs!

Design Team Inspiration

Karin placed the focus on the cute fox from Snow Globe Scenes inside a circle window. She added birch trees from Window Scene: Winter and a starry sky. She framed the panel with Let it Shine Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine red striped paper and a Scalloped Rectangle.

Samantha‘s holidays are Furry and Bright with these cute pups! She also used a dog and the Christmas tree from Joy to All! How pretty is that inky background?

Joyce used the Peekaboo Backdrop to create cute Christmas Before ‘n Afters vignettes! She included cute mice from Bubbles of Joy and gifts from Joy to All!

With bright, bold color Samantha featured the cute critters of RAWRSOME! She added festive holiday fun using Beachy Christmas, Yeti or Not and Christmas Dreams!

Franci featured cute dogs from Little Snow Globe: Dog and Furry and Bright! She used Christmas Dreams to fill in her scene and added a sentiment from Snowy Backdrops.

Christy created a beautiful neutral background with Birch Tree Stencils so the cheery Winter Birds could shine!

Mimi featured the cute critters of Ugly and Bright, using their sweaters as fun costumes! For the deer she added an elf hat from Holiday Helpers, the bear’s Santa beard and hat are from Ho-Ho-Holidays and the fox has a reindeer hat from Furry and Bright!

Catherine created an interactive pull-tab card with the cute penguins of Simply Celebrate Winter Critters and Winter Penguin! She added an icy wall with Snowball Fight for the ice-skating judging panel.

On the icy Stitched Pond, Winter Penguin performs a perfect triple axel to the judges delight with the help of Let’s Toast Pull-Tab Add-On. Then she added a sentiment from Snow One Like You!

Design Team Inspiration

Samantha‘s delightful card is inspired by the movie “Elf”! She combined images from Holiday Helpers, Penguin Party and the cute narwhal from Critters in the Arctic! She set the scene with Stitched Mountain Borders and Snowflake Background Stencils. She spelled out a catch phrase from the movie using Harold’s ABCs.

The song “Driving Home for Christmas” by Chris Rea was Joyce‘s inspiration! She used Car Critters with the Car Critters Christmas Add-On to convey the lyrics of the song. In the background she stenciled Birch Trees. Then she added a greeting with Henry’s ABCs and Car Critters Christmas Add-On sentiments.

Christy‘s favorite holiday movie is “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer”! She illustrated a scene from the movie using Simply Celebrate Winter Critters as “all of the other reindeer”, and Ho-Ho-Holidays to add Santa and Rudolph! Then she used Snowball Fight, Yeti or Not and the Over the Mountain Borders to add frosty scenery.

Catherine used a Purrfectly Wicked cat to stand in for the “Grinch Who Stole Christmas”! Her clever Platform Pop-Up card also features the border of winter houses from Simply Celebrate Winter. The Grinch’s faithful dog Max is from Simply Celebrate Critters and his antler hat is from Furry and Bright. She also used images from Toboggan Together, Ho-Ho-Holidays, Christmas Dreams and Cheery Christmas!

It won’t take long for this whimsical and quirky holiday song to be stuck in your head, playing on a loop. Samantha‘s scene so brilliantly portrays “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” with Joy to All, Christmas Dreams, Den Sweet Den and Tiny Gingerbread. The star of the song is from our mini, Year Four birthday set.

Mimi was also inspired by the movie “Elf”! Her scene from the North Pole features Holiday Helpers as the elves! Her narwhal is from Simply Celebrate Winter Critters and the cabin and trees are from Winter Village. I love how she used Christmas Tree Lot Foiled Washi to fill in the forest in the background! Other sets used in the fun scene are Snowball Fight, Cheery Christmas and Tiny Winter Friends.

Franci is inspired by the song “Let it Snow”! She combined Giant Let it Snow and a pair of Wild Wolves to create a frosty and fun shaker card!

Karin‘s favorite song, like Joyce, is “Driving Home for Christmas”. Again, Car Critters and Car Critters Christmas Add-On are the perfect sets to illustrate this song! Karin kept her design beautifully clean and simple!

Jenn used the Henry’s ABCs and Smitty’s ABCs to spell out the name of her favorite holiday song and movie! Her inky pink background features Stitched Windy Backdrop. Rudolph is from Toboggan Together and the sign is from Penguin Party! The sweet little musical note speech bubble is from Peas on Earth!
