It’s time to make those heart and love themed cards for Valentine’s Day! For the Lots of Heart challenge use the inspiration board below as a jumping off point to create with Lots of Heart!
You are invited to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, February 2 at 11:59PM ET.
For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random winner! Woohoo!
We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!
Design Team Inspiration
Mayra was inspired by the letter blocks to create a strawberry-themed grid style card. She used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait and Outside In Stitched Square Stackables for the blocks, with letters from Oliver’s Stitched ABCs. Then she added berries from Strawberry Patch and Stitched Cupcake, they look so yummy! And she white embossed the Sweet Strawberry sentiment on a Fancy Wavy Banner.
Samantha was inspired by the glittery heart to make her Wood You Be Mine? card! She used Red Sparkle cardstock to cut an Outside In Stitched Heart to arrange the cute critters on.
There’s lots of hearts stenciled in the background of Christy‘s lemony card! Her fun design has You’re the Zest lemons and a punny greeting on a Lacy Rectangle! And she spelled out her sentiment with Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Love, Jessies ABCs and Finley’s ABCs.
Samantha used the Stitched Sentiment Banners to make a glitter backdrop for her “mushy” Valentine! Then she filled it up with mushrooms and snails from To My Fungi, Oh Gnome and Gleeful Gardens!
I love how the cute kids from Joy to All spelled out “I love you” on “blocks” from Kanga-rrific with Smitty’s ABCs. Mimi‘s card is so charming with a heart banner from Scent with Love. She created a custom sentiment by combining phrases from Whoosh Kites, Purrfectly Wicked Add-On and Treat Cart Sentiment Add-On.
Franci‘s cards and tags feature Sweet Strawberry with lots of heart! She made the heart shaped window with Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables and she used Say What? Gift Tags for the tags.
Joyce used Lots of Hearts Background Stencils to create a cool black and pink background. Then she used Little Letter to send to a love note!
Karin‘s sweet and simple design features I Heart Pandas and a Bamboo Stenciled background. She used Circle Stackables to make the layered window. Then she stamped the greeting with Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Love.
