Catherine created brilliant Happy New Year inspiration with our new Porcu-pine for You set!

Catherine began this festive party-themed card with a hot foiled Confetti Background layered behind Let’s Celebrate Backdrop! Then she combined Party Balloons and Outside In Stitched Balloon Stackables with Spiffier Speckles paper to add more party fun! She used Henry’s 123s to add the new year on the balloons, with glittery gold sparkle cardstock as a shadow.

Then Catherine added the cute porcupines with toasting the new year with champagne glasses from Happy Wedding. And of course, she finished the card with a cute pun, spelled out with Harold’s ABCs!

Thank you so much for this fantastic inspiration, Catherine!

The Happy New Year Inspiration Board challenge is open until December 31 so there’s lots of time to enter! We can’t wait to see how you will be inspired! You can link our entries HERE.

Design Team Inspiration

Catherine‘s amazing Platform Pop-Up card welcomes 2024 with cute mice celebrating the New Year! She created the greeting by trimming Giant Happy Birthday, then pairing it with Louie’s 123s. She added lots of glittery gold, cutting Star Border from Gold Sparkle cardstock. The mice are from Sew Very Mice and Scootin’ By. She made the clock with the mouse holding the embroidery hoop, adding the clock hand from Push Here.

Karin was inspired by the middle photo on the bottom row to create an amazing background! She added Giant Sending Big Hugs with some cute Winter Birds.

The pups from Little Snow Globe: Dog, Yappy Birthday Add-On and Pawsome Birthday are celebrating with balloons, confetti and hats from Yappy Birthday! For the background of this festive design, Samantha chose Spiffier Speckles 6×6 paper and crystal sequins! Then she finished the card with a Winter Wavy Sayings greeting on a Simple Wavy Banner.

The adorable Here We Go A-Waddling penguins are celebrating the holidays with a musical performance! Joyce added cute holiday details with Penguin Party and Car Critters Christmas Add-On.

Franci‘s winter sports themed Yeti or Not scene sends a cheery Happy New Year in pretty pastels!

Christy used the traditional holiday greetings from Merry Messages in her clever Christmas card! I love how she paired Christmas Dreams with our new Porcu-pine for You family! The Winter Sprigs stenciled in the background frame the happy scene perfectly!

Mimi was inspired by one of the inspiration photos to feature glittery Sparkle Garland Borders on a beautiful bokeh background! She used the Heart Garland Backdrop: Landscape as a base, adding the gold and silver sparkles over the hearts. Then she assembled the cute porcupines that are all set to ring in a new year! They are wearing hats from All the Hats with sparklers made using a Bubbles of Joy sparkle and Elephant Parade (flag handle).

Samantha combined just three sets to create an absolutely beautiful card! She stenciled Poinsettia Background Stencils, in ink colors inspired by the top middle photo, then she added shine with Stencil Paste in gold. Next, she die-cut Stitched Poinsettias from vellum to layer on top. And then she added the holiday greeting from Scribbled Sentiments: Winter!

We will have more Design Team inspiration right here over the next 2 weeks and be sure to come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 162 – Coffee, Tea and Treats!
