For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we will keep the rules few! Note: we’ve amended the rules a bit to limit entries to no more than 4 for each challenge.

We are so excited to have 2 very talented Guest Designers sharing inspiration for this challenge! Help us welcome Joyce Heinen and Francesca! Please check out their blogs and share some Fawnatics love with them!

Francesca loves to make happy holiday cards using Cheery Christmas and our Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up! She filled this adorable card with lots of fun images!

Joyce combined her favorite stamp set, Happy Harvest with Cheery Christmas to create a delightful holiday card!

Adding fun holiday images can turn any stamp set into a perfect Christmas design!

Now let’s see what our amazing Design Team has created to inspire your crafting!

Christy‘s favorite set is Baaah Humbug! She created 2 cards with the same design, adding some individual personality to the adorable sheep! I love how she used the coordinating Knit Picky papers!

Samantha C loves to make adorable scene cards and this one featuring Christmas Dreams is so sweet and cozy! The mostly red and green color combo gives this charming card traditional style!

Karin‘s awesome Scalloped Treat Box has lots of custom style! She coordinated the Tiny Tag with the window in the treat box! The Here We Go A-Waddling penguins are the perfect addition! She created the window using the oval die found in Fancy Box!

Samantha M created a fun and punny Yeti, Set, Go card! Her sentiment is based on one of my favorite holiday movies, Home Alone! She used Harold’s ABCs to stamp the custom greeting! The merry Christmas greeting is from Toboggan Together!

Jessica used the Upon a Star fox as the focal image for her beautiful holiday card! She added some pretty Mini Snowflakes to the gorgeous night sky and finished her card with a happy holiday greeting from Merry Messages!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course, we will have our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner from Challenge 18 tomorrow!

Be Merry Cards with Jessica

Our Emboss Resist technique challenge is open until Sunday at 11:59 PM PT

Good morning!  Jess here with a pair of CAS cards for our Emboss Resist challenge!

I started by stamping the Winter Big Scripty Words sentiments on white cardstock and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder.  Then on my first card I used a sponge dauber to apply circles of aged mahogany, candied apple, twisted citron, and pine needles Distress ink over the word.  I used first and second generation stampings to get the more solid and splotchier stampings and also added a few stampings of Yeti ink.  To finish the card I adhered it to a white card base and added a few iridescent pearls.

For the vertically oriented card I followed the same process but I used the Let’s Bokeh solid circle stamps and used pigment ink to stamp over the embossed sentiment!  I finished by trimming the card down and adhering it to a card base of Chili Pepper cardstock.

And that’s it!  You have a few more days to get crafty and enter Challenge 18!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
