Design Team Inspiration

Karin placed the focus on the cute fox from Snow Globe Scenes inside a circle window. She added birch trees from Window Scene: Winter and a starry sky. She framed the panel with Let it Shine Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine red striped paper and a Scalloped Rectangle.

Samantha‘s holidays are Furry and Bright with these cute pups! She also used a dog and the Christmas tree from Joy to All! How pretty is that inky background?

Joyce used the Peekaboo Backdrop to create cute Christmas Before ‘n Afters vignettes! She included cute mice from Bubbles of Joy and gifts from Joy to All!

With bright, bold color Samantha featured the cute critters of RAWRSOME! She added festive holiday fun using Beachy Christmas, Yeti or Not and Christmas Dreams!

Franci featured cute dogs from Little Snow Globe: Dog and Furry and Bright! She used Christmas Dreams to fill in her scene and added a sentiment from Snowy Backdrops.

Christy created a beautiful neutral background with Birch Tree Stencils so the cheery Winter Birds could shine!

Mimi featured the cute critters of Ugly and Bright, using their sweaters as fun costumes! For the deer she added an elf hat from Holiday Helpers, the bear’s Santa beard and hat are from Ho-Ho-Holidays and the fox has a reindeer hat from Furry and Bright!

Catherine created an interactive pull-tab card with the cute penguins of Simply Celebrate Winter Critters and Winter Penguin! She added an icy wall with Snowball Fight for the ice-skating judging panel.

On the icy Stitched Pond, Winter Penguin performs a perfect triple axel to the judges delight with the help of Let’s Toast Pull-Tab Add-On. Then she added a sentiment from Snow One Like You!

We will have more Design Team inspiration right here over the next 2 weeks and be sure to come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 160 – Inspired by a Favorite Holiday Song or Movie!

It’s the last weekend for the Inspired by Your Favorite Holiday Song or Movie challenge and Mimi shares a super clever card with you! She used Reveal Wheel to create movement in her Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree inspired card!

Mimi created a happy scene with Here We Go A-Waddling, Penguin Party and Joy for All. Then the magic begins as she used Reveal Wheel to add movement to the scene. Turn the wheel back and forth at the top of the card to see the penguins (mounted on acetate) move as they rock around the Christmas tree.

Mimi combined sentiments from Here We Go A-Waddling, Scent with Love Add-On, Let’s Go Nuts and Coaster Critters to piece together “Rockin’ around the Christmas tree”!

Thank you, Mimi, for creating this amazing inspiration for us!

Catherine created the cutest and most clever Magic Iris card with all the gifts of the 12 Days of Christmas!

To begin her charming card, Catherine created her Magic Iris, using Magic Iris Add-On which she shortened with a Large Stitched Square Stackable. She cut it from Spiffier Speckles 6×6 paper. Once the Magic Iris was assembled, she stamped the greeting from Magic Holiday Messages in the center with Lobster ink. Then she added the Holly Wreath Add-On.

When the magic iris opens, you can see the “partridge in a pear tree”! The partridge is from Love you S’more and the “pears” are made from one of the dies in the Scripty Bubble Sentiments Lawn Cuts set.
