Catherine created a rustic mountain version of a romantic gondola ride! It’s fun inspiration for the Lots of Heart challenge!

The Wood You Be Mine? beavers are taking a canoe ride with the help of a couple of Let’s Go Nuts lumberjacks. To create the scene, Catherine stenciled the mountains, then layered a Forest Border and some Ocean Wave Borders. She created the canoe with Large Stitched Oval Stackables, slipping it into the waves. She used Ocean Wave Accents to make rippled openings for the stump and the “paddle“. The squirrel is serenading the beavers with the guitar from S’more the Merrier, so clever!

Catherine used Heart Garland Backdrop: Landscape to frame this totally charming scene with hearts!

Thank you so much for sharing your clever design with us today, Catherine!

Design Team Inspiration

Catherine‘s hot air balloon candy baskets are so special! She created them using our Stitched Basket and Heart Stackables die sets. She decorated the basket with Lots of Hearts Stencils and added more hearts with Heart Garland Backdrop! She added the cute little mouse from our recent gift with purchase set that is no longer available. You could swap this mouse for the one in Really High Five and a balloon from Scent with Love Add-On.

Joyce added lots of heart to her beautiful alpine scene using Heart Garden Border! Her scene includes Stitched Mountain Borders and You Goat This!

Samantha made a sweet Valentine with whimsical colors! She combined Scent with Love, Scent with Love Add-On with Heart Garland Backdrop: Portrait. To create her custom greeting, she cut out parts of Giant Be My Valentine to spell “be mine”! So clever!

Franci‘s sweet design features String of Hearts washi tape with Giant Outlined Love Ya! How cute is that little chameleon?

Samantha stenciled Falling Hearts with white stencil paste to fill the background of her charming card! I love how she used a branch from A Bug Deal to hang the lemons from You’re the Zest on. Such a clever idea!

Christy‘s super cute underwater scene features Ocean Shell-fie! I love how she framed the fun with a Heart Garland Backdrop: Landscape!

Karin‘s card is so sweet! She gave it a subtle die cut heart design on the tone-on-tone background. The cute little vignette features the Scent with Love skunk and the heart balloon from Scent with Love Add-On.

Mimi included a clever bag of conversation hearts to go along with the Giant Outlined Love Ya and How You Bean Conversation Heart Add-On. The Wood You Be Mine beavers are sharing the tiny hearts from the altered bag using an image from S’more the Merrier!

Jenn included her sweet trio of cats in this striking Valentine! She started with a stenciled background using Falling Hearts Stencils. Then she layered on Giant XOXO and Stitched Heart Stackables. She finished her design with a heart banner from Scent with Love and Chunky Glitter!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 3 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 140 – Let’s Celebrate tomorrow! We can’t wait to see your heart-filled projects!
