A Tropical Center Picture Window Card with Samantha!

Samantha M joins us today to share her cute Center Picture Window Card featuring lots of tropical fun!

This is Samantha’s first attempt to create a Center Picture Window Card and she said she was a little intimated at first. She decided to check out the Intro Video at Lawn Fawn’s YouTube channel for the step by step instructions for assembling these cute 3D mini cards. Samantha decorated the card with Tropical Leaves Background Stencils in a pretty blend of green and teal. The punny sentiment is such a fun way to send a note of thanks!

Instead of using the layering pieces included in the Center Picture Window Card set, Samantha used the tree branches and leaves from Toucan Do It to add dimension to the scene inside the window. Such a clever idea!

She included a spot on the back of the card to write a sweet message!

Franci’s Toucan Do It Card Sketch Design

We hope you will join us for the Card Sketch Challenge! Click HERE to share your Card Sketch creativity! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 15th at 11:59PM ET.

Franci used the Card Sketch to create a beautiful card using Toucan Do It!

To begin her gorgeous design, Franci used Tropical Leaves Background Stencils to create the diagonal element from the sketch. She framed this panel on layers of neutral colors of cardstock.

Then she stamped, colored and arranged the jaguar, toucan and branch from Toucan Do It to mimic the shape from the sketch. A simple Everyday Sentiment Banner finishes the design!

Today Joyce joins us with some pretty amazing Card Sketch inspiration for you! Her tropical design follows the sketch while being totally gorgeous!

Joyce arranged beautifully ink-blended Tropical Leaves as the focal point of her design! Then she added the cute toucans, lizard and butterflies from Toucan Do It.

She included the diagonal stripe element with Tropical Leaves Background Stencils. She stenciled the stripe in a darker shade in a brilliantly subtle nod to the sketch!

She finished the card following the sketch by adding the little sentiment strip nestled in the leaves!
