Catherine’s Awesome Halloween Peekaboo Pop-Up Card

We invite you to share your Awesome Autumn projects by linking up your photos HERE! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers and show us what you love about Autumn.  This challenge will be open until Sunday, October 2 at 11:59PM ET.

Catherine created an awesome Halloween card using the Peekaboo Pop-Up interactive die set. She added a fun and totally clever twist too! For this Peekaboo Pop-Up she didn’t cut the top piece down, instead she cut out the Window Frame. Check out the Intro to Peekaboo Pop-Up to learn more about this interactive die set. Click HERE.

Then she stenciled the pattern with Brick Stencil. She cut the Window Frame from Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock, attaching it over the window opening. And then she decorated the window with tendrils from Pumpkin House, the Spooky Fence Border and pumpkins from Happy Harvest!

Next, she created the yellow caution tape from Watercolor Wishes paper. She cut the ends using a Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables die. Then she stamped it with Harold’s ABCs and Plan on It: Holidays.

When the Peekaboo Pop-Up is opened, two Booyah ghosts pop into the window to join the Fangtastic Friends bats! Catherine doubled up the mechanism to have two images pop-up! That is so clever!

Thanks for sharing this amazing and totally Awesome Autumn inspiration, Catherine!

Design Team Inspiration

For a lot of us, fall means weekend football games! Samantha captured the fun of being in the stands with her adorable card! She started with Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper to create the warm backdrop, then she brought in some Stadium Seating. It wouldn’t be a high school or college football game without a band, so she added Critter Concert to entertain the crowd! She also used critters from Butterfly Kisses, Let’s Go Nuts and Virtual Friends Add-On. Celebrate Border is the simply perfect sentiment!

Joyce‘s lovely tea party celebrates all the colors of falling leaves! She combined Tea-rrific Day and Tea-rrific Day Add-On for all the party details and guests. Then she added the falling leaves from Jump for Joy! She created a pretty background by stenciling the Birch Trees.

Christy‘s beautiful design celebrates fall with Apple-solutely Awesome! She created this sweet scene on a Meadow Backdrop: Portrait with a pretty stenciled sky!

Mimi gave her Awesome Autumn card a fun farm vibe using Woodgrain cardstock and Simple Stripes: Landscape. She used Pumpkin Wagon and Deck the Car Lawn Cuts sets to add the “truck and trailer” to haul all the pumpkins. She got really clever and dressed the Ugly and Bright critters in overalls from Little Bundle! And then she added Giant Happy Fall and sunflowers from Magic Iris Fall Leaves Add-On and leafy tendrils from Pumpkin House.

Franci chose Forest Feast for her sweet celebration of fall! She used Birch Tree Stencils to add warm color and a fun backdrop!

Karin‘s card is so beautiful with sweet and whimsical details! She created the background with Fall Leaves Background Stencils that she layered on a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle. Then she added Giant XOXO in gold metallic cardstock. The final cute details are the squirrel from Let’s Go Nuts and tiny pumpkins from Spooky Village.

These two Ugly and Bright critters are enjoying a hike through the woods to see all the falling leaves! Catherine created this Awesome Autumn scene with trees from Joy to the Woods, stenciled Birch Trees and a Grassy Hillside Border. The leaves are from Let’s Go Nuts and the sentiment is found in Forest Feast. She created the backpacks from the sushi roll in Let’s Roll, the hat is from Dad + Me and the scarf and beanie are from Winter Sparrows!

The Let’s Go Nuts squirrels are celebrating the falling leaves in Samantha‘s adorable card scene! She also added the cute squirrels from Happy Hugs on the branches from A Bug Deal. She colored the leaves from You Autumn Know in all the gorgeous colors of fall!

Jenn‘s lovely card captures Awesome Autumn in the beautiful colors of the Stitched Leaves and the cute Big Acorn! The used Giant Thank You that is perfect for this season of thankfulness!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 132 – Color Inspiration tomorrow! Now it’s time to craft up some Autumn awesomeness!
