Let’s see what our amazing Design Team created to inspire us!

Hearts are a perfect theme for celebrating the birthday of a special someone! Jessica brilliantly combined Scent with Love, Lots of Hearts Background Stencils and Giant Happy Birthday to You to create an amazing birthday card!

Franci chose Scootin’ By to create an adorable card to celebrate a birthday or any happy day! She used our new Mini Slimline Stackables dies to make her card “fun-sized”!

Caly also used the Mini Slimline Stackables dies, this time to make the perfect backdrop for the Really High Five critters! She added some stenciled clouds and a fun birthday sentiment!

Swan Soirée and Bayou Backdrop are the perfect choice to welcome a new baby! Samantha made this card special with pretty glitter cardstock!

Joyce combined Giant Happy Birthday to You with Critter Concert to send a birthday greeting! The triple layered sentiment is a standout! She cleverly used Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper to easily create a beautiful blue sky!

Karin‘s beautiful card features Unicorn Picnic! She combined it with Scripty Congrats to create a card that is perfect for lots of happy occasions!

Christy‘s birthday card is just so charming! The little scene fits perfectly on Mini Slimline Stackables and features Furry and Bright and a “pawsome” greeting from Say What? Pets! She filled in the scene with the log from Toadally Awesome and birthday images from Party Animal and Elphie Selfie!

Samantha created a party-ready card! She combined the taco from Year Nine with the avocado from Let’s Toast with party hats and balloons from Party Animal! She added the sentiment on a Fancy Wavy Banner and created a stenciled backdrop with Brick Stencil!

Jenn‘s fantastic birthday card features a gathering of our special birthday gift critters! It includes our current birthday gift, Party Pig! She stenciled confetti in the background and included a Big Scripty Words greeting combined with a sentiment from Purrfectly Wicked!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 106 – Card Sketch

Hello friends! Today is the start of a new challenge that we hope will inspire lots of creativity! Jenn designed a Card Sketch for you to use to spark crafty fun! Feel free to use the sketch literally or get creative and see where your inspiration leads!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 15th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this new theme!

Caly‘s beautiful card is an example of using the Card Sketch literally. She featured each element of the sketch using Stitched Rainbow for the arc, diagonal stripes and the placement of her heat embossed sentiment!

Christy‘s super fun design highlights the diagonal element of the sketch! She arranged the sloths, from Hang in There and I Like Naps on Tropical Vine Borders placed diagonally across her card. I love the tropical accents she added from Toucan Do It!

Samantha C kept her charming birthday pretty close to the sketch! She cleverly used the cute little taco from Year Nine to provide the arched element in the sketch.

Jessica stenciled the clouds on a diagonal and layered a Puffy Cloud Border on the diagonal as well. Her Stitched Rainbow is nestled between the clouds with the Spring Showers sun! She used some creative license with the sentiment adding Scripty Hello!

How clever is Joyce‘s super fun design! The S’more the Merrier critters and Build-A-Campsite tent are featured, anchored by the sentiment strip! I love how she brought in the diagonal element in using the splatters!

Franci‘s Happy Hibiscus design is so beautiful! The flowers take the place of the arch, combining with the diagonal element and sentiment banner of the Card Sketch.

Karin‘s adorable Unicorn Picnic card uses Stitched Rainbow and a sentiment strip, while omitting the diagonal! She used Watercolor Wishes Rainbow, featuring the polka dot rainbow paper as the background, layered on a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

Samantha‘s creative light up card gives a nod to the arch from the sketch using the Virtual Friends desk! Her fun graduation card uses Chibitronics to power up the computer! The cute kid is from Screen Time, the chair is found in Virtual Friends Add-On.

Jenn‘s glittery Stitched Rainbow has Pixie Dust Sparkle clouds for even more glitter! She used Simple Stripes: Diagonal inked in a pretty teal as the backdrop. Never one to be shy about using glitter, Jenn added Prisma glitter to the Quinn’s ABCs letters and cut Cole’s ABCs from glittery gold cardstock!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 105 – Fun with Food tomorrow! Now it’s time for you to get creative!

Joyce’s Fiesta Card!

Today is the start of our Fall & Winter 2020 Inspiration and Release Week over at the Lawn Fawn blog! Be sure to check out the Big Giveaway Post today!

Joyce created a fun and festive card for our Make the Sentiment the Star challenge!

Joyce combined two of our mini birthday sets, Year Seven and Year Nine to create a simply adorable design! She used Oliver’s Stitched ABCs to spell out fiesta!

To add some great dimension to the background, Joyce did some watercolor ink smooshing and splattering! And then she used the Just Stitching Hearts to create even more detail!

I love how Joyce coordinated the cardstock colors with the Copic colors she used to bring the piñata, taco, party hats and candy to life!

Thank you so much for sharing this super cute card inspiration today, Joyce!

The Make the Sentiment the Star challenge will be open until Sunday, September 6 at 11:59PM ET. You still have time to join us for this fun challenge!
