Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 82 – Color Inspiration

Hello Fawnatics Friends! It’s time for a Color Inspiration Challenge! We invite you to use the image and this gorgeous color palette to inspire your creative project for Challenge 82!

We would love for you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 16th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s see how our talented Design Team members were inspired by this challenge!

Karin‘s beautiful ocean scene takes inspiration from both the color palette and the pretty image! In addition to the gorgeous stenciled clouds she combined Tropical Backdrop and Smooth Sailing!

Joyce‘s Goodie Bag is decorated with a fun scene in the inspiration colors featuring Happy Trails and Stitched Mountain Borders! Who wouldn’t love a gift packaged up like this?

Samantha‘s magical sky is inked with Distress inks then stenciled using the new Starry Sky Stencil and glittery embossing paste! I love how she used blues and purples to create a cool rainbow! The clouds are from Plane and Simple and the sentiment is from Fairy Friends!

Christy used the inspiration colors to create a beautiful fairy tale design! Her card features Build-A-Castle, Little Dragon and Tiny Fairy Tale!

I love to be at Disneyland as the sun is setting, it just seems so much more magical! Caly‘s beautiful Coaster Critters scene captures that feeling with this cool sunset sky!

Jessica was inspired by the image to create this gorgeous cloud-filled sky! For the clouds she inked the background in the challenge colors using the Cloudy Stencil! She filled in with Puffy Cloud Borders cut from vellum. For the water she inked a Stitched Wave Border then added the sun from Spring Showers and stamped a few seagulls from Life is Good!

Samantha‘s Ocean Shell-fie critters are colored using all the inspiration colors! She framed this fun scene with a Stitched Scalloped Square Frame layered with Shimmer cardstock! The seaweed and coral are die cuts that can be found in Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On!

I love that Franci used an older set for this beautiful clean and simple design! The Halloween images in Spooktacular bring out the orange and blue in the color palette while the inked background adds in the purple hue!

Jenn‘s happy Stitched Rainbow design gets lots of bold color from the alcohol inked background! Check out the colors she combined in the next photo!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 81 tomorrow!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 56 – Beautiful Beaches

Hi Fawnatics Friends! Welcome to Challenge 56! Now that the Northern Hemisphere is officially in summer we thought it would be fun to challenge you to make projects with a beach theme! You can incorporate the the color inspiration if you choose or just go with the Beautiful Beaches theme!

We would love for you to share your beachy creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, July 14th at 11:59PM ET.

Now let’s check out the Beautiful Beaches inspiration by our talented Design Team!

I don’t know about you, but I want to hang out at Jessica‘s amazing beach! She used the Sunrise Backdrop to create an amazing background along with the Tropical Backdrop! The cute little Smooth Sailing critters add just a bit of whimsy!

Samantha‘s amazing beach scene features a fun interactive pull-tab! She combined Mermaid for You and Screen Time to create the children, so clever! The dolphin from Critters in the Sea jumps with the help of the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On! I love the punny sentiment using Harold’s ABCs!

With a simple ink blended background and cute images, Karin‘s Life is Good card is totally charming! Clean and simple design at it’s best!

Christy used the beautiful color inspiration on her gorgeous card! The colors in the ocean are so amazing! “Seas the day” with the adorable sailboats and tiny critters from Smooth Sailing!

Franci‘s fantastic shaker card is so adorable made with just die sets! She started with the Shadow Box Card Park Add-On to make the stitched window, then the scene is a combination of Palm Trees, Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On and Stitched Wave Borders! The greeting is Scripty Hello and she filled the shaker window with Chunky and Prisma glitter!

Samantha‘s adorable ocean scene combines Smooth Sailing with the cute Whale You Be Mine whale! She framed her sweet scene with the window from Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On and added cute detail with Lawn Trimmings Sky cord!

Joyce created an adorable beach scene using On the Beach and Sunrise Backdrop! I love how she used the sunrays to create a bright sunny day at the beach! All of the colorful beach accessories add to the fun of this amazing card design!

Grace made a super cute beach scene for a couple of the Life is Good crabs to frolic in! Underneath the Stitched Simple Wavy Border she hid a Slide On Over Waves channel so the crab and his buddy can slide around with the help of an acetate strip! She also used the Tropical Backdrop and Finley’s ABCs!

With a minimum of stamping, Jenn created the quintessential beach scene! She used a combination of Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Simple Wavy Borders, a Stitched Hillside for the sand and Spring Showers for the sun and clouds! I love how she added the greeting from You Are Sublime on the sign post from Open Me! The palm branches are found in the Hammock and Trees die set!

Jenn used Lawn Fawn inks to add color to everything! She used Butter, Jalapeño, Fish Tank, Peacock and Minty Fresh!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll share our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 55 tomorrow!
