Samantha used two Lift the Flap sets to create a fun interactive birthday party card!

Samantha set the stage for a birthday party in the woods using Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop! She cut it from Apricot cardstock and inked the edges with Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink. She die-cut the tree stump from Lift the Flap Meadow, adding shading the same way. She also included a grassy Meadow Border in yellow from the Textured Dot Pastel cardstock pack. Then she added the treetop using Puffy Cloud Borders. All of these pieces were layered on a panel of Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper.

To create the cute scene, Samantha stamped and colored images from Let’s Go Nuts, Party Animal, Tea-rrific Day Add-On and Scootin’ By. Then she arranged them in the scene, hiding some behind the flaps to be discovered by the recipient! For the simple greeting she used the Celebrate Border.

Thanks so much for this adorable inspiration, Samantha! I love all the fun surprises behind the flaps!

Let’s see how our amazing Design Team was inspired by this new theme!

Caly was inspired by our new Smiley S’more die set to create her love-filled card! She inked the Oliver’s Stitched ABCs to give them a toasty look but kept the background simple! This yummy pair of s’mores are the cute feature of her design!

A variety of our cute little mice are enjoying a fruity drink courtesy of So Smooth! Joyce arranged this adorable scene on a Stitched Scalloped Border with Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper in the background!

Samantha M had so much Fun with Food! Her clever birthday design pairs the dinosaurs from RAWRSOME with some whimsical Party Animal accessories! She replaced the stegosaurus spikes with colorful ice cream cones! And the pterodactyl has a balloon with a vegan cupcake from A Bug Deal!

The cute critters from S’more the Merrier are having lots of fun with food! Christy created a beautiful nighttime scene with Forest Backdrop!

Karin‘s simply magical design features the yummy goodies from Unicorn Picnic! I love how she added the inky panel to anchor the cute unicorns and treats!

Franci‘s card features the punny sentiment and sweet goodies from Sweet Friends! Her clean and simple design is wonderful inspiration for making multiple cards!

Samantha C created a darling birthday card featuring the caked from Birthday Before ‘n Afters! She used Outside In Stitched Hearts to build her little scene with Tiny Birthday Friends! The Celebrate Border and banner from Virtual Friends Add-On add to her festive design!

Jessica created a happy tropical design with fun food from So Smooth, Happy Summer and Aloha! She used Tropical Leaves and Happy Hibiscus to add more tropical vibes! Her greeting is spelled out with Quinn’s Capital ABCs die cuts!

This super happy birthday card by Jenn stars Smiley S’more with a toasty sentiment from Scripty Bubble Sentiments! The rainbow inked background gets some glittery fun from Confetti Stencils and Hats Off to You party hats get glittery as well!
