It’s Christy here with a Somewhere Over the Rainbow Card!
This card is a bit of a mash-up between our previous challenge: Inspired by a Book, Movie, or Song, and our current challenge: All Things Rainbow! The Wizard of Oz has been my favorite movie since I was a kid. I wanted to bring the song, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, to life on a card.
I combined images from Here for You Bear, It’s a Bird, Heart Tree, Backyard Bird Feeder, and the Winter Birds Add-on. The scene depicts the bluebirds flying over the rainbow, with the cardinal (a nod to the ruby slippers) whistling the tune from a tree branch. I used Rainbow Ever After patterned paper for the sky and the frame of the Winder Wonderland Window.
