Lawn Fawnatics 222 – Thank You for Being a Friend

We’ve probably all experienced those occasions in life when a friend has gone above and beyond, and a simple thanks doesn’t cover it. Now is the time to respond with more than words. Welcome to our first-ever Thank You for Being a Friend Challenge! We’re creating cards and projects with a thank you or friendship theme (or both!), so you will have a card on hand when the situation calls for it.

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, June 14th, at 11:59 pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Mayra‘s card features Mice Flowers in a cheery color palette! She’s brought in additional images from Fairy Friends, Gleeful Gardens, and A Bug Deal. The Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Window adds a striking frame to her scene.

Mimi combines the adorable couple from Porcu-pine for You with To My Fungi. The hint of patterned paper along the edges of her card pulls in the color of her sky and blue mushrooms nicely.

Samantha Mann‘s outssstanding scene features images from Critters in the Desert. Her beautiful ink-blended focal panels are from the Flippin’ Awesome Add-on, while her custom Henry’s ABCs sentiment has texture from the Basket Weave Stencil.

It may look like patterned paper, but the background of Joyce‘s card is made using the Spring Flowers Stencils. The sentiment banner provides a bit of ground for her Mice Flowers images to stand on.

Franci‘s delightful Daisy Border sits above a strip of aqua gingham washi tape. In combination with her Scripty Thanks sentiment and tiny heart, it makes for a simply sweet card.

Karin also used the Spring Flowers Stencils on Minty Fresh Cardstock to create her own custom patterned paper. It pairs perfectly with a sentiment from Give It a Whirl: Friends and a tiny image from A Bug Deal.

Samantha Casey‘s sweet scene combines Keep on Swimming and the Keep on Swimming Add-on with accessory images from Meow You Doin’. The speach bubble sentiment is from Say What? Pets.

Christy‘s card showcases Mice Flowers within a Stitched Scalloped Oval Stackable, atop layers of Blissful Blossoms patterned paper. The Scripty Friends die completes her sentiment.
