Christy‘s got a sweet Valentine scene to share with you today!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a cute card featuring A Mole Lot of Love! I had a vision in my head for a vivid, red color palette and a big, bold sentiment. Do you think I pulled it off? I wanted it to be a Valentine card, so I brought in additional images from Scent with Love and the Scent with Love Add-on. Then I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I trimmed down a piece of Bristol Cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. I used Candied Apple, Aged Mahogany, and Worn Lipstick. Because I wanted my sentiment to really pop, I only took those about halfway down the panel. I left the bottom half white, but did some splattering with the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors on the entire thing. Then I added a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame and a Giant XOXO greeting.

To create the background, I cut the Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait out of Lobster Cardstock and glued it to a Speckled Eggshell card base. I popped the focal panel up with foam tape and finished off the card with some Stardust Stickles. If you want to watch this card come together, check out the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.
