Christy here, with a berry sweet birthday card to share!

This past weekend, I walked over to my container garden to see if anything had come up yet, and sure enough, the strawberry plant I added a few years ago is thriving! There are no berries yet, but it’s covered in blossoms, so it should be a good harvest this year! That inspired me to pull out my Strawberry Patch dies and make a berry sweet birthday card!

I die cut the berries out of Guava, Sticky Note, and Algae cardstock and added shading with Distress Oxide Inks. Then I tucked them into the Build-A-Barrel: Apple. For the base, trimmed out the Checkered Hearts Backdrop: Portrait out of Blush cardstock and layered it over a Guava card base. Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday came in clutch for most of my phrase. I spelled out the word BERRY using Finley’s ABCs for the rest.

If you’d like to see how this card came together, you can find the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it!
