Have you ever been so blown away by another person’s card that you immediately start itching to get crafty? If so, then our Inspired By Challenge is perfect for you! This round is all about creating projects inspired by a Lawn Fawn or Lawn Fawnatics design team member or other Lawn Fawn card!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, May 17th, at 11:59 pm ET.
For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!
We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!
Design Team Inspiration

Samantha Mann was inspired by Karin!

Samantha M.‘s beautiful butterflies have so much movement as they sweep up the side of her card! She used the Magic Iris Butterfly Wreath Add-on and colored them in an array of Distress Paints. The embossing paste combined with the Corner Rainbow Stencils on the White Woodgrain Cardstock adds so much texture to her design!

Samantha Casey chose this card by Megan!

Spring is in the air on Samantha C.‘s card! It combines A Mole Lot of Love, A Mole Lot of Flowers, and Oh Gnome! in a warm color palette that goes perfectly with her Bitsy Blooms patterned papers.

Franci recreated a card by Elise!

Franci‘s card has such a delicate feel to it with those soft pastels. Her arrangement of the new Big Blossom Flowers and Stitched Rectangle Frames mimics the background die from Elise’s version. And the Scripty Thinking of You sentiment ties the scene together nicely.

Joyce found inspiration in this card by Christy!

Joyce stuck pretty close to the layout of the original design, while giving her version a few twists to make it her own. The images from Winter Birds and Backyard Bird Feeder combine with All the Clouds, nestled into the Secret Garden Window.

Karin chose to recreate a card design by Franci!

Both ladies used the Birthday Candles Stencils, but Karin gave hers a spin by blending onto a Stitched Scalloped Oval Stackable. She set that against some Blissful Blossoms patterned paper and added a greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday.

Mayra chose this amazing card by Grace!

How clever are these closet designs? Both of them use many of the same dies, like Build-A-Bunny, Build-A-Bunny Accessories, and the Workshop Backdrop: Landscape, but Mayra added her own flair to her card. She went with a monochromatic color palette and added a bold sentiment with Cole’s ABCs.

Mimi was inspired by Karin!

The lovely and simple color-coordinated design is what spoke to Mimi. She used the Giant Outlined Yay for her bold sentiment and added a secondary banner from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment Spring. Her heart embellishments come from Tiny Gift Box and Paper Clips.

Christy also found inspiration in a card by Grace!

The lovely layout and the adorable I Heart Pandas and I Heart Pandas Add-on images are what drew Christy to this design. She flipped the theme from Valentine’s to a birthday card with Scripty Birthday and brought in the mandarin oranges and party hats from Capybaras! They go so perfectly with the Fruit Salad patterned paper. If you’d like to see the video tutorial for this card and hear more about what inspired her to choose Grace’s card, you can find it HERE on her YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.
We will have more Design Team inspiration for the Inspired By Challenge over the next 2 weeks! Be sure to come back on Wednesday when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 219 – Family Matters!

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, they say. You have all NAILED IT! These are terrific – as were the originals. Great share – thanks!!
