Lawn Fawnatics 219 – Family Matters

We’re honoring the bonds of love with our brand-new Family Matters Challenge! These projects celebrate mothers, fathers, or any other family member you wish to pay homage to with your Lawn Fawn stamps and dies!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, May 3rd, at 11:59 pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Karin‘s lovely Mother’s Day card features A Mole Lot of Flowers with punchy pink accents! The bright butterflies from the Magic Iris Butterfly Wreath Add-on add so much charm!

Samantha Mann‘s delightful daddy dino card is so much fun for Father’s Day! Her perfect pairings of Rawr, Rawrsome, and Costume Party are sure to bring a chuckle!

How sweet is Franci‘s card duo? The brown ink stamping of her Mom + Me images lends them a storybook vibe, while the Cozy Sweater Stencil adds so much texture and interest.

Mimi‘s clever card casts the Cabybaras! as basketball stars. She hung her All Star backboard on the Heart Tree and even used little accents from Bubbles of Joy as their sweatbands!

Joyce‘s card features Silly Goose! combined with Spring Basket. Her images perfectly coordinate with her background of Rainbow Ever After patterned paper.

This serene scene from Samantha Casey depicts the graceful Swan Soirée, floating within the frame of the Flower Garden Backdrop. Her bright background makes her mama swan really pop!

Mayra has created the most stunning, all dies Mother’s Day bouquet combining Darling Daffodils, Terrific Tulips, and Lovely Lily of the Valley. They’re tucked inside a vellum Flower Bouquet Wrap and tied together with a bow.

Christy‘s card shows off her love of patterned paper. She layered prints from Bitsy Blooms and Blissful Blossoms, with images from Garden Mouse and Spring Basket colored to match. If you would like to see how her card came together, you can find the video tutorial HERE on her YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.
