Lawn Fawnatics 217 – Spring Fling

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and green, growing things are poking up from the earth. And all just in time for our Spring Fling Challenge! Help us celebrate the end of Winter at last by creating Spring or Easter-themed projects.

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your own creations at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils, and papers. This challenge will run for 3 weeks and be open until Easter, which is Sunday, April 5th, at 11:59 pm ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters has a chance to be the random winner! Yay!

We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects below, you give us permission to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

Mimi has got the sweetest Spring scene combining I Like Big Butterflies with Butterfly Kisses. Her use of the Flower Garden Backdrop and Meadow Backdrop Portrait really bring the setting to life!

Samantha Casey‘s card showcases such a lovely color palette with images from Some Bunny and Spring Basket. The Spring Flowers Backdrop frames it up nicely.

These sweet little tags by Franci would be perfect to tie onto an Easter basket or add to some Easter treats! They feature the Stamp ‘n Stencil Easter Eggs on Circle Stackables layered with Scalloped Circle Stackables.

Karin has brought this incredible Watering Can to life with so much texture in her watercoloring! She added in some birds from the Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-on and placed them on some Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock for even more rustic charm!

The images on Joyce‘s card work so beautifully together, you’d never know that they come from three different stamp sets! She used Stamp ‘n Stencil Easter Eggs with Spring Basket and Easter Before ‘n Afters. Her custom background features the Daisy Blooms Background Stencil.

Mayra‘s card is deceivingly sweet and simple! She packed five different stamp sets onto her card, combining I Like Big Butterflies, Gleeful Gardens, Fairy Friends, Hive Five, and Spring Basket.

These Chirpy Chirp Chirp chicks are up to all kinds of fun on Samantha Mann‘s card! Who wouldn’t want to take off in the carrot car from Carrot ‘Bout You?

Christy‘s card showcases how the I Like Big Butterflies work so beautifully together with the Big Blossom Backdrop: Portrait. She’s gone for soft pastels with her coloring and Distress Ink blending. If you’d like to see how this card came together, you can check out the video tutorial HERE on her YouTube channel.
