A Sparkly Thanksgiving Card

Hello Fawnatics friends! It’s Nancy here today to share a sparkly card for our Bling It Out Challenge! I’m not known for adding lots of bling to my cards but I love Lawn Fawn’s new Sparkle cardstock packs so they were my glittery go-to supply for this card!

I combined colors from the Sparkle Autumn and Sparkle Holiday packs to die cut a bunch of Stitched Leaves and Small Stitched Leaves along with some Spring Sprigs! I arranged the leaves on a kraft cardstock circle so keep the wreath shape as close to round as I could. I had stamped and gold embossed the sentiment from Thankful Mice before I started arranging the leaves. To attach the leaves I used a combination of Lawn Fawn Glue Tube and Small Foam Squares.

I love how the bright sparkly wreath looks on the dark brown Woodgrain cardstock!

There is still time to enter our Bling it Out challenge, it will be open until Sunday, November 4 at 11:59PM ET. Check out all the amazing entries so far for some great inspiration!

Christy’s Cozy Holiday Helpers Card!

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a fun card for our Bling It Out Challenge! I was super excited to play with my favorite set from the latest release, Holiday Helpers! These happy elves are just too cute. I combined it with Christmas Dreams to create little scene. The boy elf is taking a cocoa break while the girl elf is double-checking the nice list. Hopefully your name is on it! Haha! And of course, they needed a roaring fire, because it gets super cold at the North Pole!

I colored my images with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies, then layered them on the background made from patterned paper die cut with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I stamped my sentiment in Lobster ink and adhered this to a piece of red glitter cardstock die cut with the Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables. Then I glued the whole thing down to a kraft card base.

On the inside, I wanted to add a surprise element, so I used the Mini Pop Up Box and stuffed it with an additional elf and some extra toys. Super fun! I think this card would make anyone smile when they open it up!

To finish off the card, I stamped an additional sentiment on the inside in Walnut ink, and then added some Stickles to the outside to intensify the bling aspect for the challenge. If you’d like to see how it all came together, you can find the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.

You still have another week to enter our Bling It Out Challenge! This is definitely one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to see what you create!

Have a fantastic weekend!
Happy Crafting!

Beautiful Holiday Greetings by Samantha!

Samantha M joins us today to inspire you with a gorgeous Winter Village card with lots of sparkle for our Bling it Out challenge! This challenge will be open until Sunday November 4th at 11:59PM ET.

Samantha colored the Winter Village images with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers in a rainbow of pretty colors! For the background she blended on Distress ink in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold!

To create a glistening snowy pattern she used a stencil to apply white embossing paste then sprinkled on sparkle clear embossing powder! For even more bling she added glittery Stickles to the snow-covered rooftops!
