Grace’s Thank Ewe Reveal Wheel Card

Hello Fawnatics friends! Today Grace is sharing a super clever Reveal Wheel card using our Hay There sheep! It’s wonderful inspiration for our Happy Little Critters challenge that will be open until Sunday January 20th at 11:59PM ET.

Grace explains how she created her card: First I decorated the top panel and the rotating circle’s center. I used the Puffy Cloud Borders to make a stencil out of cardstock and sponged the clouds with distress inks. Then I die cut a circle with Outside In Stitched Circle Stackables from the Reveal Wheel panel aligning it so it’s center would match the center of the rotating wheel which was fixed to the back panel with the head of the brad pointing up and being exposed. Then I assembled the mechanism without the images and once both panels were secured, I added the sheep images to the rotating wheel, making sure I used one layer of foam tape (enough for it to fit in the circle and checking it wouldn’t get stuck when rotating, and also enough to hold each image). After the sheep where attached to the Reveal Wheel circle (I could fit two exactly opposite to each other, the closer to the exposed brad as possible). I finished decorating the whole front panel by attaching the fence right in front of the exposed metal brad to cover it but gluing it to the grass so the brad moves freely (the grass panel is attached with foam tape).

Grace used Grassy Hillside Borders and trees from Shadow Box Card to create the fun meadow scene. The sentiment is a combination of Scripty Thanks and a phrase from Hay There.

To see Grace’s adorable card in action check out our Lawn Fawn Instagram later today to see a short video! Thank you so much Grace for inspiring us today!
