Sweet and Simple Valentine Card

Hi everyone, Nancy here today with a super simple no-stamp card inspired by our Inspiration Board challenge! It won’t be hard to tell which photo got me thinking creatively!

I used Lawn Fawn 6×6 papers (Let’s Polka in the Dark and Peace Joy Love) from my stash in red and white patterns to die cut the Stitched Hearts. Then I die cut the sweet bow hangers from the Stitched Ornaments die set and the Love Ya Line Border from Black Licorice cardstock. Once everything was cut, I assembled them all on a Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop with some liquid glue. It was that easy!

Since this is a 3 week challenge, there is still time to enter! Check out the challenge HERE and join the Inspiration Board fun!
Thanks so much for visiting us today!
Happy crafting from your friends at Lawn Fawnatics!

A Sweet Card Set by Christy!

Christy shares an adorable set of Valentine cards to inspire your weekend crafting! Our Inspiration Board challenge continues for another week so you have plenty of time to join us!

Hey friends! It’s Christy here today with some fun cards featuring the adorable little dino from Rawr. I colored him up in four different ways with Copic markers, and then paired him with the How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-on to coincide with our current Inspiration Board Challenge! There’s so many great photos and color combos to give you a jump-start on your projects. I chose to feature the hearts and the pretty reds and pinks — perfect for valentines!

I die cut my patterned paper with the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and layered it on top of Chili Pepper cardstock, trimmed out with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. My card bases were made using Ballet Slippers cardstock It’s such a great weight for cards!

To jazz up my sentiment, I stamped the “I love you” portion in Lobster ink to really help it pop. Check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty, to watch the entire process.

You still have another week to enter our beautiful Inspiration Board Challenge. I can’t wait to see what you all create!

Samantha’s Breezy Balloon Card

Samantha M has a breezy, beautiful card to share today inspired by our Challenge 21 Inspiration Board.

Samantha’s card features cute heart-shaped balloons from Hello Sunshine!

Samantha created the beautiful textured sky background using embossing paste! She tinted the paste using ink pads in blue and aqua before “smooshing” it directly onto the cardstock, lightly blending the colors!

Thank you for sharing your lovely card with us today, Samantha!

Our current Inspiration Board challenge will be open until Sunday, February 4th at 11:59PM ET. We can’t wait to see how you will be inspired!
