A Black, White + Bright Year Seven Card by Kate!

Kate joins us today to share her fabulous clean and simple Year Seven card!

Hello. Its Kate here today and I have made a clean and simple card inspired by the current black white and bright challenge. The challenge is open until Sunday May 14th.

  • I made my white card base then splashed some black ink spray directly to it then set that aside to dry.
  • The piñata from Year Seven stamp set was stamped in black archival ink on water color card.
  • I used Zig Clean Color brush pens to water color the image, then used the coordinating die to cut out the image.
  • The sentiment comes from Happy Happy Happy stamp set.
  • Before adding the main image I stamped some sweets.
  • The image was added using foam squares.
  • Being a clean and simple card I used little touches to add more details like glitter pen on the main image and the sweets along with some glossy accents on the sweets.

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Kate!

We hope to see your Black, White + Bright cards and projects in the challenge gallery!

Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!

A Critters on the Savanna Card by Karin!

Karin joins us today to share a clever card using our Black, White and Bright theme!

Hi Everyone, it’s Karin and I’m so happy to share inspiration for this Lawn Fawnatics challenge.
For this card, that would be great for a kid, I started out by stamping and coloring three zebras from the fun set Critters on the Savanna. For my coloring I used watercolor pencils. I fussy cut my zebras before I created a bright and colorful background on white cardstock by inking it with distress ink in Spiced Marmalade. The sentiment I used for my flag/banner is from the cute set Love Letters.

Samantha’s Black, White and Bright Stuck on You Card!

Samantha M has some super cute inspiration for the current Black, White and Bright challenge theme!

This card so much fun! I love the special detail and texture that Samantha added to the cute Stuck on You cactus pair! They were stamped with Distress ink and the shading was added with Distress Markers. She stamped the mustache smiley from Love You a Latte on the tall cactus. The black splatters on the white card base is a clever and cool way to play with the challenge theme! That sweet sentiment is from our Yeti Set Go stamp set.

Thanks so much for sharing your brilliant card with us today Samantha!

Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!
